Are they really going to pretend Quinn is still around? (General)

This is so weird. Yesterday Thomas said he is happy for Carter and Quinn, and he didn't say anything. Are they really going to pretend she is still working at Forrester and dating Carter, like they do with Flo and Wyatt? This is not sustainable in the long term. Same for Flo... sooner or later, they have to come up with a reason to write her off.

Why aren't they doing a good murder mystery storyline? The who shot Bill story was nice, but Bill didn't die. Vinny's story - as bad as it was - was by far the best story last year. But it wasn't really a murder mystery. One with Quinn would have so much potential. Except Eric, Wyatt and Carter, they all have valid motives. Only in that last storyline, Paris Grace Zoe Zende and Donna would all have reasons to wish her death. She could find out Sheila is still alive and be killed. And so on. Endless possibilities.

I loved talented RS, but despise Quinn. I don't miss vile Quinn at all. The audience hasn't seen Flo in like forever, yet Wyatt still talk like they are still together off screen. I think Quinn will get the same Flo treatment..and Carter would be like Wyatt saying Quarter are good off screen.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

I was not a fan but Quinn was a very popular long term character. I don’t think they will handle it like they have Flo. As far as I can tell almost no one liked Flo and she was only on a couple of years.

Me too. Maybe "liked" is a strong word, but I sure prefer her to Hope, Steffy, Brooke and Taylor. The main argument viewers had was her lies about Beth, but most of the characters (past and present) have committed similar or worse misdeads... If Flo comes back some day, I hope people will stop brining up Beth over and over. Every characters have a past but it isn't hold against them until the end of time.

And like it or not Flo and Wyatt had a fan base (and detractors), like every couples.

The Avants' exit was poorly written as well, but at least there was an explanation. Rick and Maya shipped Nicole and Zende off to Paris because Maya was getting insecure regarding Nicole's growing bond with Lizzy. This is why Nicole left, and her parents followed her. Maya left later to be close to Nicole, and Rick joined her.

They never explained what happened to Maya when she returned on the other hand. Her marriage to Rick was over. She announced it and disappeared again without any explanation,

I think the problem with a murder mystery is Quinn hasn’t done anything recently. Murder mysteries only work if many people currently want a character dead. I can only think of Paris or Grace as viable possibilities.

And In order for her to discover Sheila she would have to be on screen and Rena is no longer on the show.

I think they are pretending for now but I believe she will die in a car wreck or plane crash soon.

I honestly don't see Bell do a major s/l of a murder mystery involving an actor's character that's no longer on this show. It would be hard for Bell to keep Quinn front and center in a major story with RS gone for good.

But it could be someone from her past. Quinn and Shauna had a past in Las Vegas. Someone from her old life could return and kill her for some reason. Someone from Ricard's family maybe. Or a jealous ex who couldn't let go of her.

But at first the police would suspect Hope, Liam, Steffy, Brooke, Ivy, Katie, Donna, Ridge, Deacon, Bill. All these people have suffered at the hands of Quinn in the past 10 years. Everyone would be accused and then it turns out it was Ricardo's cousin. Or a customer Quinn and Shauna conned in Las Vegas. We never even found out why Quinn and Wyatt had to leave Las Vegas in the middle of the night. Quinn had other dark secrets, no doubt.

As for Sheila, it can also happen off screen. She and Deacon were married and have a lot of unfinished business. They could say Quinn wanted to visit Deacon at his loft and recognized Sheila there. They had a fight and Sheila killed her and threw the carcass in Il-Giardino's garbage bin. :lol It would be totally believable for me.

Rena left because there was no story for her. So clearly they weren’t interested in revisiting her past transgressions.
And Quinn and Deacon haven’t even been in a scene together since his return. Why in the world would she visit him suddenly? How would she even know where he lives? It could have been interesting if they had planned for it by having them interact but at this point that would be stupid and contrived especially offscreen.
IMO they would never have Sheila kill Quinn off screen if they were going to do it they would have done it before Rena left and it would have been an explosive send off.

The words “world turned upside down” could just be a breakup I guess. But during their IG Live after the paint fight KKL and KA also made some comments like poor Quinn.

Yes, that's why I also think they are going to kill her off. But if they do, they should take advantage of it. Not with some lame off screen car accident. Have someone find her dead body at Forrester Creations.

It's easy to write a thrilling murder mystery without RS. She worked late at FC for the next fashion show. She was the last person working in the building. Someone comes in and shoots her or poisons her coffee (but this part happens off-screen). The next day someone finds her dead body on the floor of her office. They don't need RS for that, they can use a mannequin for the Quinn carcass. She is found dead, the police starts investigating. Everyone is suspected in a long stroyline, full of twists and turns. But it turns out the killer is Ricardo's brother (random example).

But what would be the point of a murder mystery with almost the whole cast as suspects if the killer eventually turns out to be someone from Quinn's past that we have never seen before and will never see again? That would be a huge letdown and many viewers would be furious.
Murder mysteries only work when a well-known character turns out to be the culprit, like when Taylor shot Bill or when Storm shot Stephanie. And in those cases the victim wasn't even dead, so that there was still a chance to redeem the shooter by having the victim forgive them and agree not to press charges. But if someone actually dies, the murderer will be irredeemable. And I don't think Bell would want to sacrifice a long-term character for the sake of a character who's already offscreen anyway.

I prefer more off screen relationships and references than acting as if three of Brooks children are not Forresters or that Tridge and their family are the only descendants of Stephanie and Eric.

I think they'll write Quinn out some way. Hopefully, she'll find the love of her life and inform Carter she's married. I would even watch to see Carter take that call.
