I think that was very obvious Steffy felt that way; especially the way, they have been writing for Sinn the past year, so, for me as a Sinn fan, it was nice to hear the confirmation right from Steffy's mouth.

While I agree Finn needs to speak up more often, I rather a lapdog, than an emotional abusive man which is a majority of these men on Bold, with the exception of Carter.

I find Carter very emotionally abusive. If he can't have the woman of his choice, he'll take just about anyone so he'll have a woman. He treated Paris very abusively, asking her to marry him, then abandoning her at their wedding for Quinn. I hope Quinn lets him know she's married someone else and Carter knows what it feels like to be unceremoniously dumped.

They need to give Finn more substance. Right now he's just window dressing. He's brought out for love scenes and to tell Steffy how wonderful she is. I don't think the writers are invested in Finn.

Oh, they are like watching paint dry. There is no spark between Steffy and Finn at all, and absolutely no sexual chemistry. Tanner is an attractive guy for sure, but he is not sexy in any way. And his character is vanilla and a real dullard. Even so, I sorta liked him because he seemed like a stand up guy from good roots, but I am rethinking that with his behavior of late. A stand up guy would not be rooting his wife on in her quest to bust up her father's marriage. Not only is Finn supporting her, he actually fixed his mouth to talk smack about Brooke at the first FFD. But this is what happens to decent people when they start hanging in a toxic environment; so, Li was not that far off in her concerns about Finn marrying Steffy. And really, what a slap in Li's face, Jack's too, he may have lied about his paternity, but that does not mean he was not a good father. They raised Finn the right way, with values, and a sense of right and wrong, and within months of marrying Steffy he is morphing into her mini-me.

And you can totally miss me with the whole soul mate stuff. I don't know, but if I told someone I loved them, I wouldn't be falling into bed with my ex-husband the same day. And then after being shot completely forgetting she was married to Finn, and they had a son? Steffy wasn't in a coma, she had suffered blood loss, however, Finn was in a coma, and for a long time, but when he woke up, he knew who he was married to. Steffy imprinted on poor Liam when he pulled her out of that bathtub, and she has never looked back; Finn or no Finn. All it would take is one word from Liam and Steffy would set her heels on fire trying to get back to him. Unfortunately for her though, it seems Liam is finally wising up to who and what Steffy really is, and I don't think he would be too interested in her as a romantic partner anymore, particularly after being married to Hope for so long, and having a faithful and loving wife.

I somewhat agree that Finn and Steffy are like watching paint dry but at least there is some dimension to the process of paint drying as the colour changes. Finn and Steffy. No depth or warmth. Nothing interesting about them. He's pretty much only rolled out for awkward kissing scenes and to hold Hayes. A big huge dud for me.

Then why is she so unhappy? Ranting, whining, insulting people, trying to force her father to end his marriage?
Shouldn't she be still endlessly happy to have her soulmate back?

She is not unhappy, especially not in the Finn department. We get proof of that, when she always has a big smile on her face when Finn is around or when talks about him.

I hate the parent trap as much as the next person, but Steffy has always been a meddler and very messy, that is part of Steffy's core characteristics, regardless of her emotional or relationship status.

Indeed and very messy is a polite way of saying a manipulator and bully. This is why I can never feel any compassion for Steffy only in extreme circumstances like the death of her sister and after she was shot. She is a horrid, entitled person who runs over people like it is her right.

And I agree that Finn is a purse holding lapdog-not romantic or sexy at all.

I love Steffy but Finn drags her and Sheila down sorry, they giive me the same vibes as Lope and Bridge boring forced no chemistry, besides atm she keeps saying Taylor is Ridge's soulmate so it means little, the girl needs to move on from this parents trap crap and a new love interest

I highly disagree, Finn has been the best love interest Steffy has ever had. The best chemistry and dazzling dynamic. JMW and TN truly come alive when they are on screen together.

Finn also continues to be one of the best additions on the show, and he uplifts Steffy, as the direction of Steffy's character before Finn's arrival was horrendous. I am so happy with Finn and Sinn.

She had another possibility for a very brief moment, and she ended up in bed with him. Telling him she wished they were still together raising Kelly, as if Finn never existed. Nobody else is interested in her since that night. Whoever ends up with her or Taylor are the biggest losers.

I don't understand that comment about the Spencer men seeing the light. Steffy walked away from her marriage to Wyatt and hasn't looked back. Wyatt is with the now invisible Flo, Beth's babynapper. Four years ago, Bill wanted to marry Steffy, He was willing to give up his FC shares to her (which he did) and renamed his yacht after her. She ended up turning him down and hasn't looked back. He has been alone since. No one else wants him yet. Maybe Li will.

Or until Finn keeps another secret about Sheila and another man catches her attention, and she'll wind up in Eric's guest house with him, then planning her next paternity test.

I've seen Taylor and Brooke with other men than Ridge over the years. They even married 3 of them. They are stable as long as Ridge didn't want them, but as soon as Ridge was free, they couldn't stay away from him. Steffy is written the same way. She only married Wyatt and Finn because Liam was with other women.

By the way didn't Wyatt say Katie was his soulmate? Didn't Thomas say it was Sally? Didn't Bill say it was Steffy? Didn't Brooke say it was Bill when Ridge was in Paris? Wasn't Quinn's Eric? Didn't Nick say it was Bridget? That means nothing if they don't prove it.

Steffy can never win for some. Steffy spent months grieving Finn, checked herself into a mental hospital as she could not cope with losing him, and was in complete despair. She hasn't even mentioned Liam's name once since JMW came back from maternity leave. Steffy has never even thought to visit Liam in any of the Forrester gatherings. Her focus has only been Finn and her children. She called Finn, her soulmate. And she has to still prove more?

I do believe that Steffy feels that Finn is her soulmate and mainly that's because it's been the narrative. However, I have to disagree that Finn and her children have been her focus since Finn's return from the dead. Sadly, Finn and her children have been pushed aside for her mom and dad. You'd think she'd be overjoyed, at peace and grateful that she has her family back. Instead, she's desperate, vindictive, hypocritical, FOS and hurtful.

Sure, Steffy said so. But I'm not 100% convinced that she meant it since not that long ago, she still called Hope's husband..her "sweet husband". Steffy has never turned Liam down for sex before. So the only way I will fully buy Finn is "my soulmate" is for Liam to go to her and use her for sex, and Steffy turns him down flat. LOL.

She actually turned Liam down for 6 months after she married Wyatt. Liam was chasing her non stop, begging, pleading and she never cracked. It still didn't mean she didn't want him. She was just waiting and looking for an excuse to dump him without looking like the one who broke her wedding vows. She would probably do the same with Finn if Liam was free and begging her for another chance. Doubt she would instantly sleep with Liam after what happened in 2020, but she would try to find a pretext to dump Finn and put all the blame on him. Hopefully that won't happen. I'm fine if they stay "happy" forever. No angat = backburner.

Lol, she broke her marriage vows like 24 hours after Statt got married. At the beach, she wrapped her married legs around Liam and she kissed him passionately.

Only time will tell if the writers allow Finn to be her soul mate. Right now, I’m not so sure. Happy people don’t behave the way Steffy does. Something is wrong with her.

With all due respect, there is really nothing for me process. I am sure you wrote all of this with the intention to disprove that Finn is her soulmate; however, the narrative is that he is, and that Steffy feels strongly that way. The scripts have to be approved by all the writers including Bell, and they are telling the audience, that Finn is Steffy's soulmate. The same way, they had Taylor say that Finn was the love of Steffy's life. Finn said Steffy was the love of his life, and Steffy sees Finn as her soulmate.

Steffy has always HATED the Logan's even prior to Liam's arrival, so he is very irrelevant when it comes to her hatred for them. Also, regardless, of Steffy's emotional and relationship status, she has always felt the same way about the Logan's, and always meddled. I am not sure but you seem to want to argue that Steffy can't possibly be truly happy with Finn and see him as the love of her life as she is being hateful and parent trapping, but was she not meddling and hating on Hope and Brooke and other women like Ivy and Sally, even when she was with Liam? Even when she was in love with Bill? And any other past relationship of her's? It is just something that has always been consistent with her character.

When it comes to amnesiac Steffy; as I have told other posters, reading up on dissociative amnesia would be a compelling read! It would explain the response. Also, the writers also admitted that a lot of twists were to make the fans "angry" and "upset", to then eventually give them the resolution they wanted. So Finn's death and Steffy waking up thinking she's married to Liam, was to anger fans, but then the reveal that Finn is alive and the Sinn reunion, was to make fans rejoice.

What I do know, is that Steffy has reiterated constantly to everyone around her when she was grieving Finn, that they were supposed to grow old together. She definitely sees Finn as her one and only. She was unable to move on, she left town and checked herself in a mental heath facility. That was just how deep she loves him and how traumatic her lost of him has been? They had the audience be aware that her mental stated had worsened and she could not cope, and her doctor told her to check in a facility with 24 hour care. They showed their cosmic connection during past months.

We can also argue that Steffy felt all these things about Liam in the past, but now that she is in stable mature relationship with Finn, her love for Finn has grown and deepened. This is why I am not sure why bringing up what Steffy said to Liam in the past matters in the context, because they aren't together and that was before Finn's time? Haven't we all had past relationships when we think they are the one, and they end up not being the one? This is Liam for Steffy. She thought he was the one, but he isn't. Now Finn is the one for her, and she says herself on repeated occasions.

Also, we have the actors confirming what is onscreen. JMW said Finn was Steffy's true love and soulmate. She even said Liam is not Steffy's person, but Finn is. Steffy said it herself to Ridge that Finn was her person. Tanner N. said Steffy was the love of Finn's life. I am not attempting to convince you otherwise since you clearly feel strongly that Steffy did not mean that line (when she clearly did). I just think it is obvious that both the in-show and behind the scene narrative is that Steffy and Finn are soulmates.

The actors say a lot of things. The dialogue can also try to tell us something. But the viewers have to be convinced that's it's true. I don't know if they plan to make Sinn and end game type of couple. I hope they do. But they gotta invest a lot more in the Finn character for that to happen.
