Are We About to Get a Paris Kind of Re-do? (General)

Brooke goes to Aspen to create some space. She tells Ridge to meet her at a particular time and place or they are done. Ridge flies to Aspen to work things out with Brooke. Taylor and Steffy race after Ridge to prevent him from reaching Brooke. Ridge is late to the meeting spot because of something Steffy does. Brooke leaves when Ridge doesn't appear. When Ridge finally shows up, he finds Taylor there and after realizing that he's blown it with Brooke, he settles for Taylor.

And we spend the next year with Brooke and Ridge pining for each other because Ridge doesn't want leave the brats? I can't take it.

No. No. No. Ridge will pine for Brooke, imagining her face when he's with Taylor and Brooke will be living life and having a blast without Ridgie poo.

Brooke and Ridge are still 100% married though. They never even talked about annulement or divorce. I can't see Ridge making a decision like Hope in Paris or Liam in Aspen, when they both married someone else the same day. Ridge can't marry Taylor and Brooke can't marry Bill or Deacon if they haven't annulled their marriage first. Ridge would have no reason to stay with Taylor if he knows Brooke was only late because someone else interfered. The only way he divorces Brooke and chooses Taylor is if someone makes up lies about Brooke (like when Stephanie and Thomas made him think Brooke and Thomas had sex). Or if someone kidnaps Brooke and texts Ridge with Brooke's phone and he thinks Brooke doesn't want him anymore.

Oh no, I'm not saying that Ridge marries Taylor or that Brooke marries someone else. I'm saying that Ridge disappoints Brooke for the last time by not showing up at the agreed upon time and Taylor is his only option.

Since it's going to be in Aspen, I think it's more of a Leffy Aspen part 2..maybe, Steffy can lend her fugly dress and combat boots to her thirsty, desperate ma?

I was thinking the same thing. Steffy is going to cause her parents so much pain! I can't wait!!!

Probably! But they’re doing it this way because Rich and Brooke will ultimately end up back together I doubt him and Taylor even make it to the altar. They might have sex and then he’ll realize that his children and Taylor have been working against him and he’ll go running straight back to Brooke but hopefully her and Bill will be back together by then.

Yeah, usually when it's a perm breakup, it's due to learning a truth and not due to a lie.

Now that I could see. Throw in a gondola in there too. Taylor descends from one to meet her waffling prince.
Brooke goes home devastated and filled with anger and ready for revenge against Steffy and Taylor.

Even though I would like to see Brooke knock Ridge to the curb, it would be funny if Thomas, Steffy and Taylor are stuck in the gondola while Ridge meets Brooke and gives her a big kiss. Maybe Brooke could be wearing a wedding dress, just not one like Steffy's combat boots mess, and Bridge could renew their wedding vows while Steffy, Taylor and Thomas watch.
