I was just about to post something similar to this. Ridge's silence when Thomas and Steffy are going on and on about his feelings for Taylor is deafening. I found myself yelling at the screen that Ridge should just say once and for all that he is committed to Brooke and is in love with her. That he loves Taylor but does not want a life with her. But he never says that. Taylor and Ridge are both wimps when it comes to standing up to Steffy.

As I've read, Ridge did try to chastise Steffy today about her endless criticism of Brooke. However, the problem with Ridge is he consistently allows the Terrible Tots to run roughshod over him. I honestly don't think he has doubts about how he feels about Brooke. The base line of the problem is that Ridge enjoys being fawned over. And let's face it. Taylor has made it her mission to constantly stroke Ridge' ego. And he enjoys the attention. Makes him feel like Brad Pitt, even if his mirror doesn't.

But as far as I'm concerned, he still doesn't look as bad as Talylor and Steffy. Waffling and playing 2 women is bad. But the way Taylor and her children are harassing him is worse. The way Taylor keeps begging for crumbs is pathetic. She is like a thirsty leech since the day she came back. Steffy is married with 2 children and runs a company, but she spends more time bad-mouthing the Logans, bringing up Brooke's past, whining and browbeating Ridge. If the spoilers are accurate she is going to sink to another low next week. She is no better than Sheila if she starts conspiring.
Ridge could put an end to it of course, but it doesn't give Taylor and Steffy a pass. They are portrayed like vile, sanctimonious and even heartless people. Ridge isn't to blame for their snotty attitude.

I don't think he has doubts..after all, he moved back into Brooke's house, still calls her "my wife", and never even entertained the thoughts of filing for a divorce/drawing up papers.

He has tried! More than once! But they are relentless and don't listen. I'm not excusing his behaviour, I too think he should be more firm but it's honestly embarrassing for a man to continue telling his ex wife and daughter that he loves his current wife when the two simply won't take no for an answer.
