Thomas really is hoarding Douglas (General)

Liam is right about that. Thomas took the child and keeps coming up with excuses to keep the child instead of being a mature parent and communicating and co-parenting with Hope. Making plans with other kids to prolong the stay, etc, like Douglas is on vacation instead of sending him back to what he knows as homebase and instead of realizing that Douglas also needs time with his mother.

If Thomas sent the boy back, then maybe people would feel more confident to send Douglas back. Thomas isn't coming at this like a mature well-adjusted parent who knows it's a process they ALL have to be eased into. He's barreling into it like a runaway train.

Whether Thomas meant to have Hope where she is in Douglas' life or not isn't the point. The fact is, she is there, and he needs to do a careful and thoughtful transition, but he's not doing that, proving his not ready to be a full-time father who can make balances choices that are best for everyone.

Every Thomas/Liam scenes together are a hit for me. They have the best male rivalry. The 2 actors outshine everyone else when they have scenes together. In their Bold live 2 weeks ago they said they would have a few scenes together, I always look forward. Personally I don't care who is right and wrong in these scenes. They are both making valid points. This is why a part of me hopes Hope will have feelings and be torn this time. It will make their rivalry even juicier if they really have to fight for Hope's heart. I really want to see a balanced triangle this time.

I could never see Hope falling for the man who wanted to keep her daughter away from her forever.

I feel the same way. At one time, before the Beth storyline, I would have liked to have seen Hope and Thomas together, but the Beth story ruined it for me. Besides, the Forrester's have been treating Hope horrible, especially Steffy. I would rather see a 50/50 custody with Douglas and Donna could be the one to drop him off and pick him up instead of creepy Thomas.
