You are absolutely right. Steffy comes across as ridiculous. It is not cute. It is not entertaining. I was tempted to go to Paramont and watch today. I couldn’t bear to see Taylor or Steffy. I have never been that kind of viewer. It’s all idiotic.

I had no idea back in like 2010, or whenever 'man and horse was,' that I would be watching steffy do the same damn crap and Ridge and Brooke would still be falling for it.

That was in early 2009. Thomas/Steffy stole Brooke's phone and used it to text Ridge and tell him she is done with him and he needs to elope with Taylor ASAP. Ridge received those texts thinking they were from Brooke. In 2022 they're still stealing phones and deleting voicemails. Absolutely no growth in 13 years. They have even regressed. Who knows what Steffy will do this time.

Or he didn't stay with Taylor when Thomas' lie about sleeping with Brooke was revealed. And he didn't stay with Shauna either after her and Quinn's scheme with the divorce papers was revealed. No manipulator has never managed to keep Bridge away from each other for long.
But you're right that it's hard to believe there will be any repercussions for Steffy. The only time Ridge has ever punished her for doing anything to Brooke, she was actually innocent and it was just a plot point to make Taylor sign her shares over to Steffy and give a disappointed Thomas a reason to turn to Brooke.

He did stay with Shauna. I'm referring to when he found out the marriage was fake and sat up there and planned a whole nother wedding to her anyway. The other times you mentioned -- he was not MARRIED to Taylor. With Shauna, he thought he'd "married" her and he wanted to remember it or some crap like that.

When Ridge agreed to that second wedding at Eric's that Shauna and Quinn were planning, he didn't know yet that the marriage was fake. He was still thinking that he had been the one who had texted Carter to file the divorce papers and that he had made actual wedding vows at the chapel in Vegas. He had no idea yet that the minister was a friend of Shauna's who had signed the marriage certificate even after all Ridge had been talking about was buying a vowel.
The manipulation with the divorce papers was only revealed the day the second wedding was supposed to take place, when Katie overheard Quinn talk to Shauna about their scheme on the phone right before the ceremony. As soon as Katie told Ridge about it, he dumped Shauna and ran back to Brooke.

I suppose Steffy might interfere just by finding out about the romantic night, and arranging for her dad and mom to be doing something that night instead, before he finds out that Brooke has arranged something.
But, it does not matter because here is what all of us are getting....Taylor fans get Ridge maybe picking Taylor because of trickery and NOT because he actually chooses her. Brooke fans get Brooke being in love with a complete and utter moron that cannot recognize when he is getting played by his mentally deranged daughter. Steffy fans are getting a Steffy that is so messed up, she may never recover, because there is nothing fiery or fun or exciting about this mean almost middle aged woman acting like she is 12. What a mess.

I hate it when women pull stunts like this for their own benefit, but I can understand it. There is something extra sad about a thirtysomething, married mom of two doing this.
