And it does not matter because the court looks at now is who the 2 legal parents are now. If they looked at the whole time Tom was his legal dad, that would not bode well for Tom. JMHO. In the space of those years, he did not know he was the dad for 4 months. The mother was married to his father. Upon returning to LA with his child, he helped kidnappers hide a baby thought to be dead, from her biological parents who had not given her up for adoption. He had mental collapse, a brain tumor, seizures and hallucinations. And, if anyone knows other than the audience, he abused his son mentally and physically. So, I think his bringing up how long he has been the kids dad, does not do him any favors. JMO

Only Legally matters. Until a court strips away Hope's rights, she's had them just as fully even if for one day as Thomas had them once he knew about Douglas being his -- IF he got Ridge off the birth certificate, that is, which I assume he did.

Would the mean girls, Taylor and Steffy be demanding that Tom should have his son fulltime, if Caroline was alive, and she and Douglas were living in NY or even LA? IDK. Because if they would, then they would have to understand that Liam too should be demanding that his daughter live with him full time and get to know the Spencer legacy. This is why I think they are just using Douglas as a pawn in their break up Bridge agenda. I cannot see them demanding that Caroline send Douglas to live full time with Tom, if she were still alive. So, if they would not do that then there is 2 things going on her....A. they think adoptive parents are less than zero or B. they are using the kid to break up Bridge.

This is the question Hope should be asking of all of them. IF Caroline was alive, would they still be pushing this agenda? And Taylor could start her psychobabble BS about how that is not a fair question since Caroline is dead, but any shrink would tell you, yes that is a fair way to deal with the issue. They have you look at the complete picture of why we are doing what we are doing, and if it is productive. TRQ should know that too.

Of course they would!! If the situation was the same and Thomas has to step back from being a full time parent to work on his mental health, they would absolutely support his attempt to reestablish his role in Douglas' life if Caroline were the parent with physical custody.

Yeah, we're talking about two different things -- Stepping back into a joint custody role isn't the same as trying to take the child out of his home.

Of course, not. This whole push of biology by the mean girls has everything to do with their "war" against the Logans. Not so much about actually caring for Douglas.

Actually, Steffy didn't say anything about Caroline's lie because she wanted Douglas with both his parents and didn't trust Sally.Steffy always wants the children with both their parents.That has always been her weakness.
