I thought he was great in the scenes with Sheila. He wasn't talking much in the beginning but his eyes and facial expressions spoke volumes and in my opinion that is the hallmark of a great actor.

He simply doesn't have enough good material right now to show his acting chops. If there is any stiffness in his demeanour it might be because the actor is not comfortable with Finn being Steffys yes man who is treated like a piece of furniture and has no real thoughts of his own.

I like Tanner, but I think he is better suited for something comedic or a darker role. The prince charming, perfect son thing is so dull. His best scenes were the ones with KB.

IMO Annika is an example of someone playing a "good girl" with nuance. I find her fascinating to watch despite not being a big Hope fan.

He was good when he first came back. Really good. But then with Bill and Il Giardino…he was mumbling his lines and seemed not into it at all…I like TN and I like the idea of Finn. He does need something more to do besides surf so we can see his chest and go for checkups and go out to lunch and have love scenes with Steffy. Have him saving lives at the hospital …that requires hiring extras…or make him a doctor who does podcasts on health issues…or something! He and his mother open a practice together. He and Steffy start a business…selling surfboards. I dunno.
