Am I the only Brooke fan who never ever cared for Ridge? (General)

I never thought much of the Forresters. I liked Eric because of McCook and that’s all. From day 1, I liked Stephanie and Ridge least of all. They were arrogant to me. It wasn’t the money, it was the attitude. Ridge only wanted Caroline when Thorne got her. I was so upset that a supposed brainy girl like Brooke would lose her virginity and become stuck on stupid for Ridge. I used to tell my grandmother that woman is going to lose her soul over that playboy and lo and behold, she did. So that was the beginning of my contempt for Ridge and I wondered if there’s at least one other fan who never cared for him from day 1. I only rooted for Bridge on occasion because I got tired of them hurting everybody else. But for me it all begins with Ridge. He has been very cruel to every woman he’s ever been with at some point in the relationship. So part of me would love to see him spend the rest of his life alone. I think what’s he’s doing to Brooke and Taylor is wrong. That is not love to me.

I was a Brooke and Bridge fan ever since THE LOOK at that Forrester party Beth was catering for. Was only ever interested in Ridge when he was with Brooke. Loved the superhot chemistry with RM and KKL. I never paid him any attention otherwise. Runway Proposal killed Ridge deader than dead for me. And I positively loathe TKs Ridge. He has absolutely NO redeeming qualities.

I only cared about Ridge when RM played him. He and KKL had it. They had magic. Since Ronn left it has never been the same. KKL has had chemistry with all her leading men except for TK. It's neither of their faults. It's just the way it is. It's hard for me to care about Brooke now because of the mishandling of the character since RMs departure.

Nope I have hated Ridge since I was 12 or 13. And I also hated Stephanie.m and the fact that Brooke ever felt she needed to prove something to her,

RM (although I was not a fan of his) and TK are marvelous, but I have never liked Ridge.

Bridge is a rerun ….nothing original on this show ..ridge could be single date many might liven the slug up …

I have never been a Ridge fan. I thought Ron Moss was so much better suited for Brooke and they had it going on. That being said Ridge was arrogant and bullish even then. But now, NuRidge is not even tolerable by himself, with Brooke, or with anyone else for that matter, so here I sit hoping Bridge will end. He needs to get off my screen and preferably take Taylor with him as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't seen the show from Day One because the show is older than I am, but I detested RM's Ridge. He was so selfish, uncaring, and manipulative. I used to like TK's Ridge a lot, but lately he's being written almost as selfish as the original Ridge.

You are one of few fans of the character Brooke that definitely want Brooke free of Ridge: ODDLY most of Brooke's fan see her as a winner being with Ridge, it is puzzling given all Ridge has done to Brooke. The many times he simply walked away and left her crying was simply cruel.

I will admit that I did buy into Bridge and their love story early on... Maybe because I adored Brooke from her very first scene (that has set the stage for her life)..... I do not think I liked Ridge though. It was disgusting that he only wanted Caroline to tick off her dad and defy him. I know I got fed up with him not standing up to mommy early on. Such a wimpy mama's boy for a supposedly strong Alpha male. I actually liked Brooke better with Nick and Bill. But alas, Ridge is what makes Brooke happy.

I was a sucker for RM Ridge from day one. But I was also 13.

Watching the classics today, I recognize what a jerk he was, what a playboy he was, and where he was wrong. But.....

I'm still a sucker for Ridge.
