If Carter screwed up adoption papers (General)

Even if Carter screwed up the papers, Liam wouldn't have much troubles to gain custody if he wanted. He is still Douglas' cousin after all. And Caroline made him and Wyatt Douglas' godfathers. He and Wyatt could sue and bring all of Steffy, Thomas and Taylor's crap to court. The Spencer brothers have never done anything illegal as far as we know. They would mop the floor with the Forresters if there was a court case. If Liam wins the case - and he would - he would directly make Hope the mother. Problem solved.

Godfathers are for religious purposes not legal.. Even Caroline's mothers would have more say than Liam and Wyatt.

And I love to see old granny Taylor's arms a flailing and her mouth a wailing. LOL So, it would be fantastic for me if Carter made a mistake and gave Hope complete 100% custody of Doug. One thing is for sure, if Carter messed up at all for either of them, time for him to be fired. He has a history.

Yes, Carter had nothing to do with the adoption papers.
Hope told Brooke that she had gone to an adoption lawyer.

Carter's only involvement had been to inform Ridge that they (Ridge and Carter) couldn't do anything and the adoption process was on the roll - Thomas having the papers signed and Thomas assuring Hope that she could file them and he wouldn't contest them - unless Thomas would change his mind.

But that was more than 2 years ago, so how long does a CA adoption lasts?
How long after it has been finished, can you try to make it unhappen?

6 months to a year. But, usually 6 months. Has anyone else noticed that they keep saying Douglas has been living with Lope for years? Hope said it. Tom has said it. I think Steffy said it.

In n.y you have one year the mother can take child back
