Absolutely right, but show can’t let go of the feud over a grown man who moved on. No one stole him. But Thope is as it’s always been. He still has feelings for her. She adores Douglas. She has no feelings for him other than as Douglas’s father. Tom needs a woman. He must be lonely.

The best part about this storyline is AN..she's fantastic! She always brings it especially the dramtic stuff like her scene with MA today. He's great too.

Tom and Hope were adults today. I think they would easily work it out without their parents buttong in. And Steffy too

I am still hopeful those two will work it out together. I actually don't think Thomas is doing this because of his mom or Steffy. He really wants to be a better dad to Douglas. This should be between Liam/Thomas/Hope period.

I am still hopeful those two will work it out together. I actually don't think Thomas is doing this because of his mom or Steffy. He really wants to be a better dad to Douglas. This should be between Liam/Thomas/Hope period.

IA. I hope this is about Thope and their love for each other, real love. When Taylor crawled out of the grave, and kicked Hope and RJ and Brooke out of their home, Tom was upset for Hope and RJ both, but especially Hope. He loved her like a little sister. Later when Steffy wanted him to get Hope drunk and date rape her, he did not want to do it, even though he was falling in love with her. When he lied at Stephanie's request and said he and Brooke had sex on the island, and it cost Brooke everything, he start losing his mind over it and Stephanie just kept hissing in his ear to "grow up and do the right thing for the family"....and after he told Stephanie he needed to tell his dad and Brooke the truth, and she screeched at him, she ended up throwing him under the bus and told the truth herself. Tom loves Hope, and he knows she has always been there for him when his own family just used him. When she thought she had knocked him into the acid vat, and saw he was alive, she grabbed him and hugged him and was relieved that he was not dead....and he was overjoyed at her caring about him. Taylor even created the mess they have now, out of her using Tom to try and get Liam back for Steffy. Tom knows his mother loves Steffy more than him. Ridge tried to steal his son because he did not think Tom was good enough to have him. All of this has affected him, but the 1 person that has never given up on him is Hope. So, IMHO this could be a great SL about an honest love for someone.

Brooke was the only person who could reach Thomas after Taylor “died”. I remember those episodes as if they were yesterday. Thomas was a great big brother to Hope. He played with her all the time. That’s one of many reasons why I didn’t want show to cross the line. I believe blended families can work and that people can love one another without sex being involved. Also I thought it would have been a powerful story if Thomas felt closer to so called Logans than his mom. I believed the more dramatic story would have been you haven’t been here for us mom and they rebuild relationship with her. Instead they resurrect triangle without using past history.

I thought the Hope and Thomas scenes today were great. There's no easy answer with the Douglas issue and there can be some really great dialogue if it was just these two involved in it. Although, I did like Bill and Liam's scenes too. I like that Bill is on Hope's side.
