Did Quinn ‘leave’ LA or is she still ‘there’? (General)
So what exactly happened to Quinn anyways? Did she tell Carter she was leaving him and left LA altogether or are they still together in LA as a couple, but they just won’t have her on the show anymore (Carter will just mention her to the other characters now and then)? Did they breakup and she actually moved away?

Big fat ZERO. We do not know, they did NOT tell us.
Carter and Quinn had a wine tasting lunch in the office, not even in his loft all the usual kissing and telling each other how wonderful they were, etc. He even told her when he thought of beauty, he thought of Quinn.
Zende had already interrupted long enough to tell Quinn her jewelry compliments his designs so much and to keep doing that.
END. No goodbye to Wyatt, Eric, anyone in the office. So whatever they tell us now will be off screen as happening.
Not a proper send off after 9 years.

Well I did read that Sofer quit the show exactly one week before her last day on set. So the writers had no time to really set tings up for a proper ending. Her last scene probably wasn’t even ‘’supposed’’ to be her last scene. So yeah, your right, her disappearance will just be mentioned by Carter to someone else that she decided to leave town. Which is totally out of character because she would never just leave town. So yeah, her final scene wasn’t meant to be that. I partly blame Rena herself for that ending. If she had told Bradley Bell she was leaving a week before her contract was over, but said to him, ‘hey, I’ll stick around for at least another month or two so you can write a proper send off for the character’’, then perhaps Brad would have had enough time to write a few scenes of her saying goodbye and actually say she’s leaving LA.

I agree, it was partly RS's fault she didn't get a better send-off. She gave BB no time to write one.
