Could Ridge just shut his mouth already? (General)

He has zero respect for anyone except Steffy and it was established ages ago, but he should really stop badmouthing Deacon without end in front of his daughter. Why? Maybe because he would flip if anyone would dare to say anything negative about his unstable son in front of Douglas. One second he is protecting Thomas's right to reclaim full custody of Douglas and the next he expects an adult Hope to stop seeing her father. I would even say that Ridge is right if he himself would admit that Thomas and Taylor aren't fit to be around the kids. He is so jealous of the fact that Deacon ever touched his Logan that he won't even thank him for saving Steffy's life. Someone seriously needs to remind that caveman that if not for Deacon Steffy would be reunited with Phoebe in the afterlife. And how can he even demand Deacon to stay away from Brooke when he continues to spend time with Taylor without Brooke? To make things worse he is acting super inappropriate with Taylor. Stephanie raised a self absorbed idiot. It's so annoying that Ridge will say "I told you so" once everyone will find out that Deacon was hiding Sheila because he is absolutely ok with the fact that both Thomas and Taylor are not in jail right now so he should cut Deacon some slack... Especially because he kind of owes him for Steffy being alive right now. I guess that the Tridge mafia simply view others as servants that have a job to serve them and therefore they feel this lack of gratitude to people that saved them from oppression. Just like now they aren't grateful to Hope for what she has done for Douglas and Steffy when she was in rehab.

IKR! Ridge could not get any more stupid. His behavior is atrocious. Since the writers have made him this way and it seems to be getting worse by the day, it makes me think that possibly it's leading somewhere big. Not sure of course, but I can't shake the feeling something is about to go down with him and his crazy self, but maybe it's wishful thinking because anything new and different would be exciting. I am sick of Ridge period

Since Ridge's returned to L.A. with much fanfare after his honeymoon hissyfit, I have despised him. He is dour, growly, judgemental, hypocritical and totally stupid where his cheating, criminal ex-wife and children are concerned. Then his treatment of Hope, who he raised right beside his own children is despicable. For all Brooke's faults she has never treated Ridge the way he treats her constantly. Finally this jerk has totally forgotten he has another son. It is scandalous and absurd. RM played Ridge with more feeling, even though he reached an all time low in 2005 after the fake heart attack ambush wedding reveal. This guy is being written as a complete misogynist and he turns my stomach.

Exactly! So sick and tired of sanctimonious hypocrite Ridge on his high horse badmouthing..when he is actually worse than Deacon in MY view. Someone really needs to slap some truth in his smug face that Deacon's a HERO who called 911. Otherwise, Ridge's precious little twit wouldn't even be around to reunite with her husband..she would still be mopey and whiny without Deacon and Li being the heroes. I think Ridge inherits his holier than thou, classist attitude from Stephanie. Stephanie called Brooke the SFTV even though Stephanie got pregnant from a one-night stand at 17 with Ridge and didn't know who the baby daddy was. Ridge was a regular playboy when the show first came on and Stephanie and Eric laughed about it. It was like an atta boy attitude from those two, but Stephanie held Brooke to a higher standard. Thomas takes after both Stephanie and crazy Taylor. He is the head snake in the pit of vipers just like Stephanie was. Stephanie always justified Ridge's behavior and blamed everything on Brooke. Steffy and Taylor do the same thing now that Stephanie did back then. Crazy must run in the Douglas/Hamilton gene pool.
