That's how they chose to end RS' run. I'm glad they didn't kill her off and that we got to see Quarter deliriously happy but that's a slightly anticlimactic ending. I guess it leaves the door open for a recast. If they do recast the role I'm not sure they'd be able to recreate the crazy chemistry between RS and LSV. Whoever gets the role would have huge stilettos to feel. For now though Quinn exists in absentia. Thanks for the memories Rena. You were phenomenal and the reason Quinn was my favorite character.

I thought the same thing. It was nice, but it was bland. I don't think they will be able to recast with anyone that is going to come across like RS did as Quinn. Quinn was one of my faves to watch, up until this last round of cheating on Eric. I thought she was vile at times, funny at times, I felt sorry for her, I rooted for her, But no matter what, RS did a fantastic acting job.

They almost have to recast. Otherwise we'll find out that something happened to Quinn or that they broke up offscreen. Or worse, that she's just never seen and Carter is left in limbo.

Also if Rena left because of lack of story why would they recast? I guess it could be short term to finish off the story.

I guess they are leaving the door open. They will have an offscreen romance for a while. It gives them a chance to determine next steps.

I’m completely confused. I read the topic outlining who finds Quinn’s body, who has motive, etc., etc and although I want Quinn to be recast…despite the fantastic job RS did in the role…major players Ron Moss, Kim Matula, and Hunter Tylo were successfully recast (Hunter not quite as successfully) - I figured okay, they will kill off Quinn :(.

But now this topic says she is not being killed off? How do you all know and why is a topic after this one talking about ways she can be killed off…who has motive. Today’s show she just kind of evaporated at the end of the scene…so are you all saying you KNOW she won’t disappear and won’t be found dead? Don’t need RS to play the role of a corpse. I’d be thrilled if that’s the case…that Quinn isn’t killed off. But I mean she cannot just have dinner with Carter and we never see her again without explanation - which to me means she would have to be killed off. She and Carter didn’t say they’re leaving town….

I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’m confused.
