Quinn's Exit (General)

So tomorrow is the last episode for my beloved Dark Angel but there doesn't seem to be a clear exit strategy for her. We didn't see Quarter at all this week so whatever Quinn's exit is it's all going to be self-contained in one episode. That seems like insufficient for such a prominent character. Moreover spoilers don't allude to a tragedy happening nor is there a logical path to breaking up the recently reunited couple so what's the plan? Are they just going to pretend that Quinn is there without ever seeing her. There's certainly no indication the role's being recast. I just we'd have some clue by now as to how the character of Quinn would be making her exit.

I am concerned they didn't have time to do a proper exit. Her decision to leave was sudden. But I am hoping they are just keeping it quiet.

I do not pretend to be privy to any exit for Quinn.

And I do not have a source to quote but I assumed it came from Quinn herself that the program had asked her to go to recurring and she did not want to do that. The die was cast.

Since the last thing I read was that Quinn and Carter share a moment tomorrow I will assume this is when Quinn makes her choice for her future and they break up or seal the deal with leaving together.

Also keep reading that Lawrence Saint Victor is concentrating more on writing so if true then both could leave and no re-casts. Or he could stay and have another story line now.

I highly doubt a re-cast or they would have just kept Rena if they had a story line for her.

I’m thinking she will say she needs time to herself to think about her life. That feels natural to me. Perhaps she’s going to spend time with Shauna.

I hope they give RS something really good for her last scenes...though I didn´t like her character Quinn I think RS is a very good actress and I especially liked her early scenes as Wyatt´s mother, when she tried to get him together with Hope.
But it seems that the Spencers will not play a big role anymore too, we very rarely see Wyatt, Liam doesn´t have much of a story anymore and Bill´s scenes have become very rare too...which is a pity as they all are good actors.
Perhaps they think the Bridge/Tridge triangle will be their new highlight of the show?

Spoilers say they "get really honest" so I think they talk - after romance - and face the fact that while they love each other, they wouldn't be good for each other because they want to take very different paths in life. Quinn wants to focus on her business and Carter wants a stay-at-home wife and children, so they decide to separate. I think they may recast the character of Quinn some day. I know people say they can't, but they said that about the Ridge character, and a lot of people love TK even though they don't like the way Ridge is acting right now. If enough time goes by, I think any character can be recast.

That's just my guess. I have no inside information, of course. I do think they want to leave the option open to recast or even for RS's return if she should ever change her mind. I don't blame her for leaving. She was going such long stretches with no SL at all. Not until Carter.

I think Quinn break up with Carter, and then leave town

I think Quinn is going to recognize Shelia while Carter and her having dinner. Shelia will probably make her disappear. Not a spoiler JMO.

I know you love her but I won't miss Quinn. I will miss Rena. She is so beautiful and she is a good actress. I do hope Bell gives her a good exit. Quinn has driven lots of story and deserves an exit that is not a whimper.

There’s not going to be any exciting, story driven exit for Quinn. It’s going to be 100% lazy writing. They’re going to ship her off to Forrester International like they do everyone else because the writers are lazy and don’t care anymore. If not that, she’ll just say she’s leaving LA and that’ll be the end of her.

It almost seemed like Reno Sofer decided to leave the show very abruptly without much notice, leaving no time for the writers to come up with anything good. I read that she was going to be put on recurring status because Bradley (the worst writer/producer in all of soap land) couldn’t think of anything else for her on the show. Sofer wanted nothing of that and said ‘BYE’.
