When Hope said I can give you more time with Douglas I wanted to slap her. And Brooke flying over to the cliff house on her broom to tell Taylor that Douglas is staying with Hope. The Logan coven is looking real nasty.

Agree with all of it. They do look nasty and I'm kind of loving that part.

Well, they shouldn't really care. Douglas is not a blood relation to them. But, if they hadn't stepped in when Thomas was abusing Douglas, who would have loved and nurtured that boy. No one. Time to let Douglas go back to his dysfunctional family. Won't be long before Douglas hates the Logans. I'm sure some lie will be manufactured to create that hate.

Well, that's one way to look at it. If the Tridge Mafia wants it's number 2 criminal to raise the boy, fine.

The timing of this move by Thomas, Steffy and Taylor speaks volumes. Won't be long before Taylor goes running to Ridge to tell him what big mean Brooke said. Taylor the rat.

I just hope we are getting close to Brooke herself turning "rat" and heading to Lt. Baker to let him know she has a break in the shooting of Bill Spencer. That case is still open and on the books and there is no statute on attempted murder in CA. And it carries a sentence of up to life in prison. I would think the Hamilton shrews would be thinking about the very fact that if Brooke loses Ridge to Taylor, she no longer has any reason to play nice and not rat Taylor out. Brooke won't be in trouble either. There has not been on incident of Misprison of Felony prosecuted in California. Bill won't be in trouble, neither will Steffy, Liam or Hope. But, Taylor is another matter, she confessed to Bill, Steffy, Liam and even Brooke, and they would all have to perjure themselves to cover for her. There is a good SL for this show. LOL

I've said Douglas should live with his father. Then he can explain how he used him to keep Hope in his life but failed miserably. Then he can explain how he ran out on him when he was a baby after he reunited with his mother then now has decided to take the only mother figure he's had out of his life. That will ALL be on Thomas. Love It.
Hope is a good mother. She'll let Douglas go. Then poor Douglas and the fun part will be Thomas suffering for it. Douglas won't accept any other female in his life. Maybe he'll turn into a brat like Alexandria did. Loved how she went after Taylor.

That's the problem I'm wondering if the writers are going to address. How Douglas reacts to being plucked out of his pond and being chucked into the Forrester ocean. It would be so unrealistic for Douglas not to miss his mother, his sister, and his stepfather after so abruptly moving out. Thomas is taking Douglas from one extreme to another instead of finding the boy a middle ground, and it's always based on how Thomas feels, not about what is best for Douglas.

Maybe Ridge was right to try to keep Douglas from the unstable Thomas.

I think this SL is so stupid it is a non-starter. I think mean girl Steffy and her twit mother are using Douglas to further their agenda. I also think this is none of Brooke's business. That all being said, Tom is not exactly taking Doug from one extreme to another. Doug is going to be with his dad at his great-grandfather's house with the aunt who has watched him for years, living there too. The kid will have a Forrester, a Logan and a Marone-Forrester all living there with him. Hope is always welcome at Eric's, she lived there once too. And, like others, I don't care at all about Douglas or this SL or in fact, any children at all on soaps. They bore me to tears and should not even be seen on a 22 minute soap opera. The sooner he is at Eric's, the sooner he will be sent upstairs to brush his teeth and we won't have to see him again until Thanksgiving. Works for me.

The one extreme to the other is swapping out Thomas' situation with Hope's. Now Douglas will be missing Hope and wondering where Hope is and wondering why Hope can't live with them. To me, that's one extreme to the other.
