Finn's Follow-ups (General)

DDT, 8/17/2022, 10:08PM (626 days ago)

Something feels wrong to me about the number of "follow-ups" Finn is having with the doctors. I get that his situation is extreme and would require extraordinary caution/care, but it feels like he's keeping something from Steffy and that there's more going on than "everything's fine."

It could just have to do with finding a way to keep him off-screen so other plot lines can heat up. And since he doesn't do anything but cling to Steffy now that he's back, I'm more than fine with that. But I feel like there may be more significance to the follow-ups.

Anyone else getting that feeling?

I get the feeling he is going to have some kind of health crisis. There are other ways they could explain him not being on screen and mentioning the appointments seems intentional.

I don't think so. I think it's just that TN had a lot of screen time the last few months and he is getting his break.

I'd like to see Jack too. They need to resolve some things.

BBDownunder said:<<<<agree with this. i would like to see him in scenes with his father Jack.>>>

Of course, Jack should be there front and center wanting to see his son and even trying to get LI to give him a second chance.

As for Finn, yes Tanner probably is due some time off now after the grueling scenes in the bed for so long but it is seeming too obvious with him always on followup doctor appointment. But him not coming home and telling Steffy that all is well and this will be over soon.

And he is a doctor, so if he has basically returned to his good health, they could get him off screen if they needed by just saying he is back working at hospital himself.

He is either going to be an important/interesting character or just some one to have sex scenes with Steffy.

They need to start making him more than that. His "death" story wasn't even about him that much. He seems like an accessory.

He is just the latest pair of new dangling earrings for Steffy. This is after all, The Steffy Forrester Show. LOL

Here is what I am feeling.....Finn is being backburned because JMW's pregnancy is over and Steffy is back to being a royal pain in the rear demanding self centered b**ch and Finn is no longer needed around. I predict he will be seen maybe every other week so they can have over-produced sex on the dresser in their bedroom. I do think Finn is going to be on and off again, and while on, he will be Steffy's designated purse holder until Liam is available to fall on top of her again. LOL

Wouldn't be surprised if some day we find out he has a double life, either he' a contract killer or he has another family with children and everything, both Thomas and Liam had strong suspicions about him at first, I still say they will be proven right eventually

Totally disagree. Finn's as straight arrow as they come.

I agree. There's just no use for him now since Steffy is laser focused on Mommy and Daddy, lol. And he has no story beyond adoring Steffy so he's off into the background like the good husband that he is:-D

Hey they made Maya transgender and Taylor raise from the grave twice, anything's possible on a soap, we don't know much about Finn's history before Steffy, it was never even said if he had other relationships, I can definitely see him hiding another family in the attic, strnager things have happened

When they first started talking about the "big twist" I thought it might be something like that.

That's true, but I don't think they've happened on this show. It's so vanilla. I don't want the character of Finn ruined, but I do want to see more of him, so if he has another family, I guess I might be okay with that. He needs to be stronger.

Liam had suspicions, but that was just clearly due to his jealousy and Steffy moving on with her life.

Thomas never had any, in fact, Thomas told Liam, they ran a background check on Finn, and nothing came out. They won't character assassinate Finn, when the show is selling Steffy and Finn as true and epic love. Add, that Finn is the father of Steffy's son.

I don´t think it means anything...they had their miracle story and now Finn isn´t needed anymore...not at the moment.
Steffy has only her scenes where she is bashing Brooke and ranting about how Douglas should be with Tom, why should Finn listen to this?
He just might find out his wonderful wife isn´t really so wonderful...;-)

I doubt it means anything. He is back to the same status he was before his mother "killed" him. He was hardly ever on. His 2 months of "trying to get out of the bed" are over, he is back to the backburner. Until the next time Steffy cheats on him or his mother kills him again.
