The End of Quinn...for Now (General)

I just read the news that Rena Sofer walked away from B&B to focus on her pottery career. I respect her decision but I'm still saddened by it. It's no secret that Quinn is my favorite character. She's funny, talented, smart, and no-nonsense. The character is also complex. We know some of her past but I feel like there was so much more to mine. The fact that she stood up to Brooke and refused to kiss her feet only endeared her to me more. I can still watch her slapping Brooke to the floor on loop. It's one my favorite scenes right up there with Stephanie having Brooke literally dumped in the trash and Ridge telling her to go pound sand when she tried to seduce him away from Caroline. In any case Quarter have such amazing chemistry and I was looking forward to seeing where they went. The only thing I can hope for now is that they leave together. There's no reason for them not to nor is there a reason to kill the character off even though I can't imagine anyone besides RS playing Quinn. To sum it all up as Florida Evans on Good Times once said, "Damn! Damn! DAMN!".
