Exactly. I just watched and Ridge just said, he has feelings for Taylor but not like what he has for Brooke, not the love he has for Brooke, and that he wants to be with Brooke, not Taylor. I am wondering what Tridge and Taylor fans are going to think about this turn of events? I am not even gloating. As a Brooke fan I am thinking Brooke is going to be a big dummy if she lets this stuff with Douglas ruin her marriage to Ridge, but as a Brooke fan, I am pleased to know that when/if it does happen, Ridge really does not want Taylor, she will be his second choice gal, again. But, If he had said to Brooke he was unsure of his feelings, then I would be wanting Brooke to run like hell from him and never look back.

Oh, his words to Brooke today were deeply satisfying to this Brooke fan, too. Taylor and Steffy can keep singing "we're number two! We're number two!"

He was fine with Brooke siding with Hope, until the end, Brooke went too far when she said...."I won't allow it, he needs to stay with my daughter, not your son"....that was a stupid, and unkind thing to say, and none of her business at all. In fact, Hope needs to stop running to her mother and working her up over things her mother has no say-so over. JMO.

Tom was fine at first with Hope, then he got demanding. He was wrong too. He was fine, Hope was whiny, then when he saw that she was still questioning it all, he got demanding and started the Forrester crap.

I've said it all along. I don't think Tridge will happen. Not in any serious way. Maybe just as a small distraction to console Ridges hurt ego. And after today, I think only the die-hardest of Tridge fans will be wanting them together, especially if Ridge has made his feelings crystal clear as you say. This is heading towards Teacon. Maybe even a triangle with Taylor, Deacon and nu-Sheila as long as no one figures out who she really is.

As for the custody battle, I think it will end up being a huge nothing burger. In my experience that's what happens to most stories on Bold that are overhyped. Doug will say he wants to stay with his dad and it will be over.

Yeah, Ridge said he had feelings for Taylor because she's the mother of his child, but he loves Brooke and he loves her more than anything or something like that. Brooke replied that she felt the same way. He made it sound like he'd just gotten caught up in a moment.

But he's still a liar. Brooke said she'd forgive him this ONE kiss, but he's kissed Taylor two or times already.

I also think that's the reason they hired a younger actress. HT would have never clicked with SK but KA does. If they just wanted to throw Taylor back with Ridge again there is no logic behind getting a younger actress. They could have gotten someone the same age as HT and she and Brooke as rivals would be believable. As it is right now with Brooke acting all mature and reasonable and Taylor all giggly and coquettish it honestly seems like an unfair battle.

I thought he said they had filmed it that week. I know because of summer break, they are only filming about 2-3 weeks out right now. So what we are seeing right now was filmed the first week of Aug. I think Sheila and Deacon are the hook-up.
I could be wrong, but I suspect Taylor/Deacon was a tease.

Ridge kissed Taylor right after he saw the picture of Brooke and Deacon... I was pissed.

Who knows what will eventually happen but I am very glad that Ridge said what he said - after even Brooke said he only came home to help her!
He never said that and that is not how he feels.
It is very realistic - that a man or woman thinks that a kiss means everything to them but to the other person it was just a moment.
Taylor should be mature enough to know that.
And by the way, if Ridge did the right thing and stayed neutral and went back home - Steffy and Taylor would not push Thomas to get D.
That is a hook for Ridge.

IA. I enjoyed it today when Ridge told her she is the only one he wants to be with, and she laughed and said " well you are the only one I want to be with" then they moved in to each other and really kissed. It was a moment. And then Brooke had to bring up stuff that does not involve her at all. Nor does it involve Ridge, Taylor or Steffy. It is their business as family, but it is not their decision or their fight, PERIOD!. Neither Hope nor Tom are unfit as parents. Neither Hope nor Tom have issues with each other. Tom and Hope were doing fine co-parenting, and if everyone keeps their noses out of this situation, they would do fine figuring it out. And the spoilers already have told us, they ask Douglas what he wants to do. It will be a done deal if he says he wants to go live at great grandpas with dad, or he wants to stay with mom and Beth. Because if Tom and Hope have his best interest at heart, they will listen to him.

I wouldn't dislike Taylor so much as a character if she didn't lord her alleged superiority over everyone. Her WRP shtick is an absolute joke. She's a sanctimonious holier than thou person who ALWAYS gets her sins washed away because she's St Taylor. That's why I dislike the character so very much. For being a WRP she shows no compassion for others, is judgmental and uses truth as a weapon to justify her behavior.
