Having a regular paycheck and a high paying salary, she thinks its the right time to leave the show. Of course it is, with the horrible writing, she’s getting out now before it gets even worse. I don’t blame her. I’m surprised she stuck around as long as she did. Hopefully at least, she gets a great send off and doesn’t just “Disappear” to Forrester International like everyone else. Time to set up a fun and well written murder mystery, but the writers won’t get it right.

I hope we get to see her hand cuffed, arrested and sent to jail.

Maybe she has more interesting projects coming up? I don't think that Rena wants to leave because of the writing... Her character was usually a villain and she stayed. I guess she got a better proposition and that would be great because she's a beautiful and talented actress.

I can't link to it, but I read that the average B&B actor makes $57,000 a year, with taxes, $48,000. I was shocked,, but it came from a reliable source. Just Google "What does the average B&B star make?" I don't blame Rena for leaving. She didn't get good SLs anyway. Who does on B&B? Frankly, I will not miss her, and I hope they don't recast her character. Not interested in Carter, either, but I do want to see more of Wyatt.

Agree 100%. If this was Rena's decision I would be all for it, but somehow the last few months of the show with on again, off again, with both Eric and Carter, makes me think they were pushed into a corner with what to do with Quinn so easy way out.

Wyatt does not need his mommy around so that does not bother me as long as he plays some role, hopefully a bigger one.

I want some closure tho, she and Eric getting a divorce so both can move on with their lives. Him taking down the portrait, he can put himself up there for all I care. I do not think it needs to be Donna, she is his wife or soon to be I guess, but not matriarch of Forrester clan. Maybe Eric and Donna can agree just to put Sephanie back up there to watch over them with evil eye.

I'll miss her too. I would have liked to see some of that evil mind of hers put to good use and have her help the underdog in a battle.

I hope not. That's disrespectful to a good character, but it wouldn't surprise me. They do tape ahead, so we'll have to wait and see.

I took her statement as saying she taped her last episode on August 5 so it will probably air some time in September.

That was her last day for filming so we will see her again.

I have never liked Quinn but honestly this is VERY bad news for B&B. RS is one of the most talented actress and know Quarter grew a large fan base in a short time. I hope she wasn't fired.

My biggest fear is that Wyatt will follow. Flo/Sally gone, now Quinn. Hope/Steffy have been out of his orbit for so long, I doubt it will be revisited. No love interest, no mother. What's left for him, except Liam and Bill? They could always revisit Watie, but that can't happen if HT keeps making rare appearances. I really don't see any future for Wyatt...

Not really a good news for Carter either. I don't think the writers will just go back to Paris/Carter after this wedding disaster. It's more likely Paris will stay with Zende or start something with Thomas.

Guess it also seals the deal definitely for Shauna. Her status was still uncertain until now, but I can't see her ever coming back if Quinn is gone and Flo is not with Wyatt anymore.

As for Quinn's exit, I'm really curious to see how the writers will handle it. Will the truth about Ricardo's death finally come out. Will we learn why she and Wyatt had to leave Las Vegas in the middle of the night and never come back? Will Ivy decide to show the police the Seine footage and press charges after all? Will Deacon turn her in for pushing him off the cliff and force the police to confront her about it? Quinn could be arrested and jailed for a number of reasons.
Will someone kill her? That could be a good murder mystery, I admit. Everyone hates Quinn except Carter, Eric and Wyatt. They would all be suspects.

If her leave is permanent, I hope they choose one of these 2 options. Someone kills her or she is finally arrested for her crimes. That would be the best end for her character.

The show seldom permanently ends a character, unless it's the actor's wish to never return, but even then, the role could be recast. Just look at Sheila. How many times has she "died"? She's like a bad rash.

Does anyone know anything about Darin Brooks’ status? I’ve mostly transitioned over to Y&R but Rena and Darin were the two things that have kept me periodically tuning in to B&B. I’m ready to cut the cord, but it would be nice to have some confirmation that Darin is on permanent back burner status. That’s what I suspect but I hate that B&B sometimes is so vague about actors’ statuses. I really appreciate the confirmation in this case. If anyone sees something about Darin, I check the board periodically for news. Thanks.

Flo's status isn't even clear at the moment. They removed KB from the opening credits but neither SOD or KB confirmed she was leaving. KB said on Instagram she hoped Flo would come back and she was waiting for news, but they haven't recontacted her apparently.
Wyatt had a few conversations with Bill and Liam but they spent the whole time talking about Brooke and Ridge. Not a word about Flo, it's like she never existed.

For DB nothing has been announced. He is still in the opening credit and isn't listed as reccurring. But he wasn't mentionned in the July Sweeps and the Summer previews, he isn't mentionned in the spoilers either. Vague is an understatement. I don't have more informations and I doubt anyone else here does.

RS leaving is a shock for me, on the other hand. Her airtime in 2022 was more substantial than 2018-2021. They literally just put her with someone new for the first time since 2016. It sure doesn't seem like her character ran her course, there were still plenty of storylines to write. I never thought she'd leave now, but according to SOD it's her own decision.

db hasn't said anything official about his bold status but it's obvious he's moved on to other things

Rena said she wasn't going to stay after this contract but now that they've got their shiny new toy I'm not sure what TPTB wouldve done with Quinn anyway.
Now I worry about DBs future. He's hardly on now and with Rena leaving who knows where that leaves him.
