Brooke has NEVER stopped to think about anyone else and she expects everyone else to stop and think especially if it involves her daughter. If it makes Hope happy then she should have it…
Lope needs to realize that Douglas was not brought to them as a baby, he has known his dad and mom he came from a family until his mom passed away. For him Lope is only a place holder not the permanent family. As much as he loves Hope his home and heart will be with his father. And Hope can’t just decide to take someone else’s kid and make a family.She has known under what situation Douglas came to her and what it meant. Not letting Douglas stay with his dad is wrong.

For him Lope is only a place holder not the permanent family. As much as he loves Hope his home and heart will be with his father. And Hope can’t just decide to take someone else’s kid and make a family.She has known under what situation Douglas came to her and what it meant. Not letting Douglas stay with his dad is wrong.
Is that what Douglas has said? That Hope's a simply a placeholder? Wow. That's harsh of him considering all that she's done for him.

Actually, Douglas has been calling Hope "Mommy" for years now...and not "Mommy Placeholder"...so he certainly thinks of her as his mother (here on earth).
But i think Hope and Tom should sit down with Douglas and have a talk...perhaps Douglas really wants to be with his father, live with him...Hope should accept it, it´s not as if she couldn´t see him whenever he wants, they all live so near to each other.

The spoilers say they will do just that. I'm pretty sure Hope will accept what Douglas says and not make a big deal out of it. What will be interesting however is to see whether Thomas really has changed or will he be up to his shenanigans again soon?

Yes BUT.......Douglas needs a place , a permanent place to stay, his own room, and Thomas can not or has not produced that yet, so needs to be addressed. Thomas not having Douglas before now is only his own fault. He never asked or hinted that he wanted more of Douglas.

Actually I don’t think it’s going to be Thomas vs Lope. I think it’s going to be about the complexity of how Hope and Liam deal with losing Douglas. Jmo.

I really do not care where the Bait goes to live as long as he is not used as a pawn and is healthy, well cared for, an happy. I do hope that they have split time between both parents.
I do agree that Thomas needs to go and provide the kid their own place and not mooch of family members. Thomas has never lived beyond a bachelor pad, he has always lived with mommy, daddy, sister, or gramps. At least with Gramps he will have a live in nanny. I hope that he at least lives in the guest house and not in the main house. However Thomas needs a babysitter himself.
I just hope he is ready for the responsibility and does not create an evil monster like himself. Douglas needs a parent not a pal. At least living with his mother, he has a chance to grow up sane, but he does have the Marone/Douglas/Hamilton crazy gene.

Just how do we know that Brooke is going to get Eric to turn down Thomas' request to move in? Eric seldom , if ever, turns down requests from his family and Brooke knows that. She also knows that Donna is in residence and would automatically look out for Douglas. If Thomas is so hell bent on getting sole custody, why isn't he out looking for a house or a condo for the two of them? It can't be for lack of money.

I don't think Brooke will beg Eric and I don't think she's selfish. I just don't want Thomas pushed into anything by his witch mother or his witch sister.

Hope will do the right thing by Douglas because she IS the ONLY adult in the room. I believe Hope will get pregnant before the years end and the Tridge bunch can watch from the sidelines when Hope gives birth to Liam's son. They won't have any involvement in that.
