Daddy come home (General)

It's really excruciating to hear. I could almost understand if it was just Thomas. He has been single for years, his son isn't living with him... I still see him as a poor little lost boy with mommy and daddy issues.

But from Steffy it sounds beyond pathetic. She is married, she has 2 children and is CO-CEO of the company. But they hardly ever show her working or spending time alone with husband and children. Before the week Sheila shot her, all she was doing was interfering in Brooke and Ridge's marriage. All the whining, browbeating, badgering, brainwashing she puts her dad through, I would tell her to get lost if I were Ridge. Her time in Paris didn't have any positive impact on her because she is repeating the exact same things about Ridge Brooke and Taylor. Why she doesn't want better for her parents is beyond me. The most pathetic she is is when she says she can see the love in Ridge's eyes and she can see he is tired of Brooke and would rather be with Taylor. Or when she makes up Brooke's past with Deacon, Thorne and Eric. Obviously she doesn't know anything. She isn't even aware of the reasons why Ridge left Taylor for Brooke in the first place. Now it looks like she will be interfering in Thomas and Douglas' lives. I can already hear her harassing Thomas about how he needs to get Douglas back... I'm starting to regret Sheila didn't finish the job in the alley.

This is the main reason I stopped watching. It's just too much to hear the Tridge clan repeat this dialogue over and over and over again. I wonder if the actors ever watch themselves on B&B? I understand they are only going by the script handed to them, but seriously if they would watch a few times, surely they would know how irritating it sounds. It boggles the mind.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

This is ridiculous. But the Tridge brats are immature and have refused to grow up. They've had everything handed to them. They've gotten everything they've ever wanted. They run to Daddy and Mommy because they can't handle daily life. Thomas is mentally unstable and Steffy was a drug addict. Ridge and Taylor are the worst parents. They never taught their children to stand on their own two feet.
Reunite the brats with their dysfunctional parents then let's be done with it.

ITA! It's cringe worthy to have to listen to a grown woman yammer on like a 12 year old about Mommy and Daddy belonging together. Obviously, Steffy has issues. For that matter, so does her brother. And that's down to both Ridge and Taylor. However, it's not just wanting her parents back together so they can all play parts in some delusional happy family. It's also, IMO, about Steffy's obsessive never ending one uppmanship against Hope.
