I think Sheila cut off her own toe! (General)
She is too evil to die. She will probably now kidnap Hayes. That toe was the least needed on her foot for balance in my opinion. She is certifiable crazy and the LAPD is nuts for closing the case. Also had to believe the family is agreeing after all Sheila has put them through

I wish they would have shown her putting the scene together and her screaming while she cut her toe off. I need more satisfaction than they gave us.

Yes pretty much everyone thinks that and I asked the day this was the episode we all saw would the middle toe be less needed for balance than the small toe. It is also possible a bear could have gnawed off her toe but she escaped and purposely left enough hair and blood evidence and the toe to make it appear she died. But pretty much everyone thought right off the bat she is deranged enough to have cut off her own toe.

True. Her response when asked is "I have sources" or something like that. We never know what the sources are.
