True. there was more at stake than just Steffy knowing he was alive -- even though Steffy is understandably upset that she had to grieve for a living man. Taylor was all buddy buddy with Sheila. She was telling Sheila that she was part of the family. So Li did the right thing in keeping it quiet in case Taylor learned and blabbed to Sheila.

I love that she recognizes that Finn adores Steffy and she’s happy as long as he’s happy. But she doesn’t feel guilty about her actions. This is aimed at Steffy, some people do not know when to accept things and be grateful.
Yes, Li made some mistakes. But both Steffy and Finn were shot and could be dead had it not been for Li.
Sheila was still hanging around as she always is so Li could not take those chances of being found and exposing Finn again.
If Steffy loves Finn, then put all that crazy stuff and envy for his mother aside as you know Finn is going to take her side, she SAVED his life! Caught between a wife and a mother, ain't good!

Yeah, Brooke vs. Stephanie was awesome, great drama to watch. But I have no interest in Li vs. Steffy copycat of the original..for the simple fact that I can't stand Steffy and I'm sick of Sinn story hogging my screen. Enough already.

What really bothered me about this SL was its application to real life. I was recently in the hospital (last week) for an emergency surgery, and I was wondering if the hospital doctors declare a person dead when in actuality, they can be saved. If so, it's very scary for very ill patients and their families.

I abhor violence of any kind, but if Steffy slaps Li, I do hope Li slaps her back harder. The world doesn't revolve around Steffy like she thinks it does. It's time someone showed her that. Hooray to Li for refusing to apologize to her.

Steffy does realize that and she took the time to thank Li and tell her she was grateful but that doesn't mean Li was right to stay silent. It looked like Li was actually expecting Steffy to say something. How would Li react if she thought Finn was dead for months (and it doesn't matter if it was two or four months) and no one told her that he was actually alive? She would be just as pissed as Steffy is for not being told.

I don't have to. She fiercely loves her son and I look at the lengths she went to for him. It's easy for me to get a sense of how she would feel if she were on the grieving and mourning side only to find out it was a lie because one person chose not to tell her the truth. .

Not with Sheila on the loose, and Steffy sure to blab to Taylor and Taylor sure to blab to Ridge and Ridge sure to tell Brooke and Brooke probably telling Hope and Hope probably telling Liam, etc., etc. Li was right to keep everything secret. In addition, until she found out Sheila shot Finn and Steffy, Taylor was Sheila's BFF. She even told everyone Sheila was part of the family.

Li didn't say Sheila was a factor in her decision to keep it a secret that Finn was alive, but it sure does make sense that she would be worried about that. After all, Sheila DID find Finn. And she almost killed him all over again. So, I agree. I can see why Li didn't tell anyone.
