You are so right! I am so sick of Ridge - he takes the cake for being a hypocrite. I cannot believe Brooke ever took him back after the way he treated her waffling back and forth.

Because that's what they have agreed to. If spending time with Deacon was as important to Brooke as her marriage, she could have told Ridge to either tolerate Deacon's presence in her life or leave. But she didn't, because why would Deacon be that important to her when she never missed him at all for all those decades he was either in jail or in Genoa City? The relationship between Ridge and Taylor however has been close for more than 30 years. They have spent years together as a married couple raising a family. Taylor is a part of Ridge's life, while Deacon has never really been a part of Brooke's life. If Brooke couldn't tolerate this close friendship between Ridge and Taylor, she could have told him that decades ago, not just now as some kind of retaliation after he refused to to let Deacon into their lives.

I agree with your sentiment. My one caveat is that Brooke did say she'd stay away from Deacon and Ridge goes out of town and all of a sudden there's a picture of them together. It's not a good look. That said, Brooke's made all the concessions. She agreed to ban Deacon from the property not knowing how Hope would take it. She didn't ask Ridge to limit his interactions with Taylor. She even let him blather on and on and on about Taylor the day after they "reunited" and didn't say a word. As much as I despise Brooke, not even she should have to live in fear that her husband will walk out on her if she says or does the smallest wrong thing.

I'd like to see the transcript where she said she would stay away from him please. Honest request. I don't remember her saying that at all. She said she would make sure he knew he wasn't welcome on the property. And she kept her word.

Ridge ain't got any rights to be angry since it was just an innocent pic. If he can't handled Deacon visiting his daughter at work and a simple pic, then he can go jump off a cliff. LOL. It's beyond ridiculous that Brooke or Hope have to live in a world revolved around hypocritical cheater Ridge setting all the rules..while he gets to do whatever he pleases including cheating on Brooke with thirsty Taylor.

The caption made that pic seem anything but innocent. I really can't blame Ridge for thinking Brooke had just been waiting for him to be out of town to do the only thing she had promised him not to do anymore by hanging out with Deacon. Nothing in that caption said that Deacon had only been at FC to visit Hope at work when they thought Brooke had already left and that this was the moment they had just seen the Sinn reunion pic. The caption made it look like they were happily hanging out with each other, spending some quality time as a family. So a lot of Ridge's misconception of the situation is on Hope.
And how is Ridge setting ALL the rules? What other rules do Brooke or Hope have to follow? This is the ONLY one, and it was Brooke herself who decided to set it to save her marriage. Hope was ony affected because she still chooses to live on her mother's property. If she was living on her own, she could set her own rules and wouldn't have to bother about Ridge's at all.

Ridge wanted Brooke to ban Deacon from her property and Brooke did just that. What else does that dictator want? And Hope works at FC too, so Deacon should never ever visit his daughter at work while everyone else is freely to visit their family members at FC. That's pure BS in my view. Ridge is just jealous of Deacon, and he needs to get over his stupid insecurities.

And let's NOT forget that Deacon saved Steffy's life by calling 911..how about Ridge show some gratitude for a change instead of throwing a major tantrum like a child and cheats on his wife by kissing Taylor again?!

Based on what he knows Ridge has a right to be angry. The fact is Bridge have been on shaky, unstable ground since their "reunion". He only went back to her because of her injured foot, the writing's made that abundantly clear. Ridge said himself they were "living in the moment" which isn't exactly language people generally used to describe a marriage. Ridge has never put his wedding ring back on. Hope's ill-advised post might've given Ridge all the incentive he needed to change his mind and walk right back out Brooke's door.

Hope was either immensely stupid or she was immensely passive aggressive. I think it was the later. Is she allowed a picture? Sure, but to post it for the world to see, without asking her mother, and captioning it with "Mom & Dad, together" was an ultimate act of passive aggressive behavior. I think she is jealous of Steffy's happiness, and was trying to one up her, and in posting such a picture, she knows she is going to create a field day for the press and gossip fodder. Nothing in what she captioned about the picture had to do with memorializing Steffy's happy day. It was solely about her parents being together and telling the world about it; knowing the whole time all the scandals that Brooke has been a part of, and how this will just be another one. You absolutely have a point here. BUT Hope is still disrespecting her mom in the worst way ever. It's fine for Hope to think Ridge is a hypocrite and call him out on it face to face. But it was her mother's own choice to ban Deacon and it was her mother's own choice to tolerate Ridge's friendship with Taylor. So how does Hope have any right to publicly post a picture that could destroy Brooke's marriage by making it look like Brooke herself was mocking her promise to Ridge when nothing like that was actually happening and Brooke was merely sharing her happiness about the Sinn reunion with Hope and Deacon?
