Why would Deacon have a problem with it? He just works there. If I owned a restaurant and saw a patron sitting like this I'd ask them to either have some decorum or leave. And if I walked into a restaurant and saw someone sitting like that I'd wonder what kind of establishment it was. It's one thing to sit like that at your own home. Completely different to do it at a restaurant.

And side note: Taylor would do neither. As much as I disliked her (using past tense because this current character seems less and less like Taylor to me), there is no denying she had grace and sophistication. Her hair was always beautifully styled and she looked and dressed the part of an upper class lady. If fans like the way this current character is behaving and dressing, that's fine, to each their own. But in my opinion the powers that be need to stop calling her Taylor. Maybe write it that an impostor took over Taylor's body or something. Then her behaviour will make complete sense to me.

I overall liked Macy. I even liked the pairing of Deacon and Macy.... My only real problem with her is how she egged Deacon on to go after custody of Lil Eric and Hope out of revenge. Pretty pathetic because we now know that Deacon pawned the boy on Becky's parents to raise.

Though, to be fair, Deacon had every intention of being a good father at the time, and Macy actually got involved with helping Deacon reconnect with his kids before she even knew of his connection to the Forresters.

Macy didn't start encouraging Deacon to go after custody until the Forresters had repeatedly blocked his access to his kids and denied him visitation (despite having no legal right to do so). It was the Forresters (Rick and Brooke) who first turned it into a battle, not Macy and Deacon.

That being said, there was an element of vindictiveness in Macy at that time which was pretty out of character for her and since I really liked Macy I wished she would have risen above that. She was usually very forgiving. I think her odd behavior and her focus on Deacon was a way for her to avoid dealing with her own pain (having cancer and needing an emergency hysterectomy while your husband just got your best friend pregnant would throw anyone off balance).

Part of it is BB now characterizing Taylor as saintly, with no past wrong actions (like shooting Bill in the back and then running away) and that she is the most brilliant and just the most wonderful person…sorry, FF material. I don’t find Taylor acting like a kid, giggling, etc., entertaining. For me, putting your feet on a chair in a restaurant, someone else’s place of business, isn’t a good choice for the character.

World renowned people are usually writing papers for journals or giving speeches, not sitting at a bar with their feet up trying to put the moves on the barman and janitor. I know some actual world renowned people can be a bit bizarre, but most act with at least some decorum, unlike St. Taylor who seems to think the calendar stopped moving ahead once she hit thirteen.

I think in most places, it's not allowed, either legally or by the business owner. There are millions and millions of different kinds of germs on the bottom of shoes, St. Taylor's included, and restaurants don't want those germs on their furniture. But St. Taylor never thinks about that. Obviously, she doesn't even think about how ridiculous she looks. Why isn't she working on a paper for a professional journal or something?
