Taylor is working her plan. After Ridge tells her about moving back home, she beelines it to the one person who sends Ridge into a fit. Next, she spills the beans to Deacon about Ridge and Brooke reuniting. Then, she stirs the pot by hinting to Deacon that Brooke kissed him because she has feelings for him. She also compares her love for Ridge to Deacon's love for Brooke. In the span of an hour, she's netted her new partner and will soon have him doing her dirty work. I guess she's lost faith in Thomas and Steffy's ability to put Ridge's feet to the fire and needs more backup. Some things never change. St. Taylor my foot.

What has been shown on screen to indicate that Taylor is using Deacon or working some diabolical plan to make Ridge jealous. What dirty work is he supposed to do? It has never been shown that she encouraged Steffy and Thomas to pressure Ridge. In fact, just the opposite. She's constantly telling them to leave him alone and let him process what has happened to his marriage. Sheesh, let her live. Let's wait until she actually schemes or manipulates before we start bashing her.

Not with any kind of firmness though. Always with giggling and half heartedly, and not before agreeing with them about how much better she is for Ridge than Brooke. She doesn't need to egg them on directly. Her actions do it all.

It's been shown on screen since her arrival back in town that Taylor wants Ridge back and that she'll use anyone, including her kiddos, to do exactly that. Why talk with Steffy about how the Logans steal their men? Why get involved with Steffy and Thomas's plan to out Brooke? Why continually stoke the dream to reunite the Tridge family? Why constantly disrespect Brooke to Ridge? Why head over to see Deacon right after Ridge breaks the news? Why talk with Deacon about his love for Brooke and that Brooke still has feelings for him? You say that she's constantly telling Steffy and Thomas to leave him alone and yet she's constantly talking with Thomas and Steffy about wanting to reunite with their father. I have not seen a single scene in which Taylor has told Steffy and Thomas and Ridge for that matter that she is not interested in being Ridge's wife again. IMO, Taylor's move towards Deacon is calculated and that's enough for me criticize her behaviour.

Your words are SO correct and right on. I get so sick of Brooke being bashed for being a schemer. I get sick of Brooke getting accused of using her kids to further her relationship with Ridge. Taylor does this all the time.

Which kids? Lol... Ridge hates them all with the exception of the one he slobbered all over. He sure hates Hope and Rick and he never mentions RJ. Like he told his brat, He tolerates Hope because "she is his wife's daughter". How can Brooke use the kids that Ridge hates to further her relationship with him...

Taylor is the one who has used her brats to further her relationship with Ridge... She even threatened to take Thomas to NY if he didn't reunite with her...

Let’s see if this plot is rooted in what’s possible rather than shock and awe for the sake of shock and awe. I can tell some of you are writers and know this business. I’m too analytical for my own good. It’s nonsense to me that Brooke or Ridge would fall for this manipulation, let alone Deacon. I don’t like Deacon at all but I would hate to see them destroy his character further to prop this manipulative version of Taylor.

I would argue that this is Taylor's MO and that alone makes this possible. Every single time she's pulled this scam, Ridge has fallen for it, hook, line and sinker. Brooke is one of the smartest characters on this show. She sees a con a mile away and she'll see this one, too. Reminds me of when Taylor used Rick to come between Brooke and Ridge. "I'll give you back your son when you give me back my husband."
