Another reason Tridge has no credibility (General)

Taylor has had multiple opportunities to pursue Ridge when Brooke was involved with or married to other men or when Ridge was married to or involved with other women. So the fact that Taylor has been obsessing over Ridge forever doesn’t make sense to me. As presented, Taylors feelings for Ridge are all about Brooke. Where was this Tridge friendship when Ridge got tied up with Quinn, Shauna, Caroline or Katie? I would like to know what Taylor thought about Caridge given Thomas turned out to be Douglas’ father. What influence did she have on her best friend? As long as the only thing Taylor talks or worries about is Brooke, I can’t take anything written for this character to say very seriously.

EXACTLY!!! Her "LOVE" for Ridge comes charging back with force only when he's with Brooke. She has to prove to herself that she can beat Brooke. She could have made a play for him at any of those other times when he was with the other women, but no...the win only counts if it's against Brooke. She loves hating Brooke more than she just loves Ridge. The woman needs help.

She also could have followed him to Europe. No, it was more important to her to offer her body for sex to Eric so that she could manipulate him to try and get rid of Brooke, Hope, and Rick so that he would put her and her brats in their places at FC. (You know what they call women who sleep with men for financial or work place positions) The whole time she was with Eric, her focus was revenge on Brooke and getting rid of Rick (Eric's blood son and Hope. She would have had a better chance of snagging Ridge when Brooke was not in the picture.

I really believe that Taylor's hatred towards Brooke started when they were in high school and she was dating Storm. It has nothing to do with Ridge and more about making Brooke pay.

I too would love to know Taylor's opinion of Caridge. As a shrink, I imagine she could understand how Caroline helping Ridge regain the ability to draw would form such a deep connection.
