She really did, though. What she should have done is totally remove herself from the situation and tell her kids, in no uncertain terms, that she didn't want any part of their parent trap. She should have shut it down immediately. But she didn't. Why? Because, in spite of her half-hearted protestations to Steffy and Thomas, she secretly was thrilled with it.
She even admitted that Sheila's sabotaging Brooke made the possibility of Ridge getting with her possible. In other words, she gladly took advantage of all of it.
What would Taylor say to a patient who came to see her and told her they were about to get involved with a married man? If she had any sense, which is debatable, she would tell them to stay far, far away. But what did she do? She allowed her kids to try to break up a marriage. I mean, Steffy told her they were declaring war on the Logans and that she wanted revenge and Taylor STILL didn't shut it down. She was a willing participant in it and she got burned.

It's funny to see things so differently. For me, Taylor pursued Ridge from the beginning. From her conversations with Steffy about them losing men to the Logans, to her longing stares out the window while waiting for Ridge, to her showing up at the office and Eric's house episode after episode, to her touching and flirting and silly drivel when with Ridge, to her many many conversatons about how Brooke isn't the right woman for Ridge. She's one of the most passive aggressive characters on the show. She's also a horrible person for using her children to get what she wants while hiding under the guise of let things be.

She did pursue him. Maybe she didn't come out and say it directly, but constantly coming to see him, bringing him his favourite food, using Steffys tragedy to get closer to him, bad-mouthing Brooke every chance she got, all those were ways of pursuing him. And like the hypocrite she is, she told him she would be absolutely fine with whatever he chose. Well, we saw how true that was on Friday.
She may have half heartedly told off Thomas, but if someone tells me to stop doing something while at the same time giggling and throwing grapes at me, I'll take that as an indication that they're kidding. Not to mention that vile conversation the darling mother and son had where they made fun of Brookes marriage. If that wasn't a green light to Thomas to go ahead and keep badgering his dad, I don't know what it was.
I loved yesterday's show. Not only was Taylor shown once again to be a huge liar, she was also shown to be completely delusional and pathetic.

She did tell her brats to back off, only to turned right around and stalked Ridge to work at FC, or bring his favorite Chinese food to Eric's....Taylor is very two faced. And based on her own actions, I'd say she definitely pursued him too.

It's not only what Ridge and Brooke do... And while people schemed to bring Taylor and Ridge together people schemed to break Brooke and Ridge up. It wasn't always only Brooke's and Ridge's fault when they were apart... A big part of it is on Taylor's children as well. She also shouldn't use this "Brooke hurts" you bs when she cheated on Ridge, lied to him not once and allowed him to sit in jail while she ran from paying the consequences of her actions after she shot Bill.

And Ridge hurts Brooke, and he hurts Taylor, and Brooke kisses other men, and Ridge makes out with other women, and Taylor makes out with married men, but in the end, only one of these three is an actual criminal who committed one of the worse crimes you can commit in the world, she attempted to take another human's life, intentionally. And, that is why she is not a good choice as a life partner for anyone. She would be OK, if she had ever owned up to the authorities and atoned legally for her crime, but she did not. She just whined and begged. She is a very weak, fragile lowlife. I don't think her kids and Ridge should be enabling her bad behavior. She would be a better person if they had allowed her to take the rap that she had coming. I think Bell made a huge mistake in not writing Taylor going at least on trial for shooting Bill. Even Quinn was arrested for kidnapping and molesting Liam. She got sent to a loony bin and was pronounced cured. Taylor must have been her doctor. LOL

I'd like a storyline where Thomas and Steffy actually see Ridge for what he is when it comes to their mom and actually turn AGAINST the idea. Now that would be something new.

On this we can totally agree! I do understand Thomas and Steffy wanting their parents back together. Part of that is because they don’t know the whole history. But I get it most of the stories they heard came from their mother and at one point their grandmother. But what I don’t get is really wanting their mother to be with someone who is in love with someone else and has been for decades. Which is never going to fully believe Brooke and especially not for Taylor I would think that if they love their mother that they would want her to move on to someone else and try to have a semblance of a happy life.

Taylor herself needs to put a full stop allowing her brats to encourage her to accept Ridge's crumbs. The next time those brats say something about Tridge, SHE needs to tell them to shut the eff up.

Agree. She’s spent a lifetime with Stephanie, Thomas and Steffy manipulating and lying to try to trap him for her. She acts as if she’s a moral decent person when her sordid history of promiscuous behavior, her involvement with generations of men within multiple families is sick, she’s killed and lied about it, she shoots people and walks away, she traffics babies. And yet she has the gall to judge anyone???
This woman is so ridiculously stupid and petty it’s betond pathetic. Her and her delusions are annoying to watch. Are we ever going to see her dirty past thrown in her face?

Of course he looks exasperated but I wanna sound level he deserves this we’re going in that direction once again. At the end of the day it’s pretty clear that Rich was using Taylor as a punishment to against Brooke. And considering that this isn’t even the next day he waited a couple days it seems to even tell Taylor that he was back of Brooke. I guess with Taylor’s little visit so Earrick’s house she never realize that Ridge on his own was going over and seeing Brooke or that Brooke was even in the running. As for Taylor this is typical of her running down Brooke. That’s because she doesn’t have Stephanie to do it for her anymore and she was stupid enough to listen to the Tay Tots!
At the end of the day he might be exasperated but he’s going home and Taylor well we see where she was running to do!

Agree. What is he supposed to say? 'You know, Taylor...you're right. I should end my marriage with the woman who is the love of my life and get back with you. Just because you want me to. It doesn't matter that I'm not in love with you.'

While Taylor was going on and on about how Brooke always hurts him, he just looked so tired of listening to her. And even when he said that he knows Taylor always has his back, he didn’t say I’m in love with you - he said I love you for that.
