Taylor said Finn never completely shut the door on Sheila because he'd been a good and kind man. But what does kindness or goodness have to do with it? Steffy DID completely shut the door on Sheila -- as did Ridge and Brooke, etc. And it was because Sheila was evil, bad news. Had nothing to do with being "too kind" not to do it.
That's Taylor's problem. She's weak, "too kind" to shut the door on evil.
I don't think Finn didn't shut the door because of kindness. I think he kept it open because he wanted to know his birth mother. plain and simple. Sheila had never done anything to him and sometimes, people need to experience things before they get it. Plain and simple.

We al know that Finn was just dumb or irresponsible for allowing Sheila into his life, bio mother or no mother with her evil background.
He has a child of his own with Steffy and a step-child to protect along with Steffy, so his opinion and choices should not trump Steffy's when it is HER house.

Yes, of course in the real world that would be the case. But for the super wealthy, and one that Steffy already lived there with one other husband and now Finn, the deed has to be in her name.
So no I would not quibble, but if it came to that, then I would think even Steffy would say it is her home And her choices trump's Finn's.

Taylor doesn't even love her own children enough to return for significant times in their lives, like Thomas' surgery, Steffy's wedding, Thomas' wedding to Zoe that never happened, etc. So I don't think Taylor knows much at all about love. LOL

I don't think you can have two loves of your life. A person either is the love of one's life or he isn't. I think a person can love two people. I've never doubted that Steffy loved and cared about Finn. I also think she's devastated that he's dead, as she now believes. But I do believe she wants Liam most of all. Look how long it took her to take that portrait down. And when she woke, it was Liam she wanted. She didn't even remember Finn. I don't even like Steffy much, but her devastation over Finn's "death" is very genuine to me, even though I think it's Liam she really wants.

Finally - it wasn’t Finn’s ability to accept Sheila that created this. It was Taylor’s professional inability to realize Sheila was still a danger because of her personal affinity for Sheila saying Brooje was bad and Taylor was great and Ridge should be with her.
Taylor is weak.
When the show started - Taylor was a strong woman. After she came back the second time her personality changed to a vindictive, negative person.

Everybody in town it seemed, kind or not, was on board with not letting Sheila in. Finn was trying to respect that, but then here comes Taylor, appealing to Steffy about how Finn must feel just so Taylor can get a chance to "study" sheila. what a mess.

I want most of the characters we have to stay. I'm invested in some of them. (Quinn and Carter can leave any time.) I don't want a bunch of new characters because I have no investment in them. Besides, they'd soon be bananas, too. This is a soap. Characters on soaps are always bananas to one degree or another.
