Even I could pedal a bike faster than Quinn did!

Okay maybe I can’t but at her age, in the shape she’s in, if I were pedaling off to get my man, I’d be tearing it up a lot faster on those straightaways! I’m talking Quinn here…not Rena! Use more of the stunt double.

Isn’t it interesting how the always fashionably and beautifully dressed and coiffed Quinn, on this day just happened to be in loose fitting jeans, a loose cottony blouse, wearing high top tennis shoes and her hair up in braids…

Too bad Quinn couldn’t have called a bomb threat into the restaurant after calling but not reaching Carter… but then we’re talking jail time. She could have called and told the person who answered that Carter Walton is urgently and immediately needed for an emergency…if they’re reluctant to interrupt the wedding say this is Mrs Eric Forester and she will pay them $50,000.00 to go in and interrupt the wedding asap…put it on Eric’s tab!

Or something like that. Okay the bomb threat would be more effective. :-P

It is a lot harder to peddle a bike through sand. When I was growing up, my uncle lived in the country on a dirt road. I used to spend weekend at his house during the summer. I would take my bike along and my cousin and I would ride our bikes to the end of the dirt road to the mailbox. There was a section of the dirt road that was sand. We had to peddle much harder to get through that section. I have never ridden a bike on the beach, but I would imagine that it would be the same.

She was on a walkway most of the time. Of course sand would be more difficult but I meant when she was on concrete. Go, girl, go!

On the sidewalk, I totally agree. She should have been screaming emergency, get out of my way and going full speed ahead.

I would think riding a ride on sand would be near impossible.

It's harder than riding on a road or walkway, but it's not as hard as Quinn was making it look. She probably doesn't exercise much. I ride on sand nearly every day, and I do fine, and I don't weigh near what Quinn does. I'm not implying she's overweight because she's not, just that I'm only 5'0" and weigh only 95 lbs. I'm probably smaller than any adult on the show, not just Quinn.

Actually, Rena does exercise regularly. She's 5'6" and weighs approx. 126 pounds. That's pretty slim and trim. I think she looks fabulous. Filming someone riding a bike is a little different than someone not being filmed. Someone was following and filming on a hoverboard. That's explains the slow speed.

I never said RS was overweight. In fact, I said she wasn't at all. But being thin doesn't equal being strong and able to ride a bike through sand at a rather fast speed. And filming on a hoverboard needn't be slow.

Obviously RS does work out regularly. Bold felt very proud of the job that both Rena and the crew did in creating the scene. It was directed the way that Bell wanted it. Filming on a hoverboard for a professional scene is the pace that the director wants it, it does not depend on the actor/actress at all. Kudos to Rena and the crew for a job well done.

Quinn wasn't riding on sand. She swerved on the sidewalk to avoid a guy, got hit by a volleyball and rode off the sidewalk, crashing on the sand. She then wheeled the bike back to the sidewalk and took off again. To avoid more people, she had to steer onto some grass and then back onto the sidewalk or roadway or whatever it was.

Thanks for the clarification, Tiqui. I tend to look away when Quinn is on so I don't become ill.

We had to peddle a little harder in that area of the road, but luckily, it was a short distance of sand until we got back on the regular dirt road. I was also a kid at the time and as skinny as a rail. It didn't really seem hard, we just had to go a little slower. I thought that it was fun at the time. I lived in the city and loved to go to my uncle and aunt's house in the country.

You're right. At her age I could have run faster than she was pedaling. That obstacle course looked staged. She could have easily gone around them.
