We got what we asked for - Carter in a more prominent role (General)

Good guys don’t stay on soaps for long. The show doesn’t know how to write entertaining stories about good people. That’s why Finn nearly got the axe. Quinn and Carter should have gotten together last year. It feels delayed and unnecessarily cruel. I think Quarter has fire but I didn’t find the clip for Friday romantic. In any event, I’m glad LSV gets his shot in the limelight.

I didn't know they'd make him a weak user and simp for Quinn. Horribly written. I agree, they should have wrapped this up in 2021.

I agree. Carter is just a simpering toddler who is "in lust" with Quinn. Wait till he finds out how horrible she can be, and Quinn has no moral compass, no core of humanity. I can't see Carter wanting that evil witch long term. The only flashbacks they can play of them are having sex because that's all they know of each other. Not a good thing to base a marriage on.

I was one who wanted rid of mopey Carter, not seeing more of him. I won't watch him. He's despicable and irredeemable. So is Quinn.

This clip of the Friday show goes too far. It doesn’t gain anything for the characters. Paris doesn’t get sympathy because so many think she should have known better. I thought Quarter was hot but not anymore. They are cruel.

That clip reminded me of Johnny in Dirty Dancing looking at Baby. she nods, and they run to each other. The only thing missing was the lift.

I agree, Quinn and Carter are cruel to the max and without any humanity or compassion at all.

I never thought Carter was hot. He's too mopey looking for me, but now I can't stand the sight of him. He and Quinn make me sick.

Paris said her mother was being mean. Wonder what Paris will call what Carter is doing.

I gotta agree. They really sullied up Carter in order to put him with Quinn, and they bruised Eric in the process. I'm not a fan of it. I feel like Carter has a mental disorder, just like Ridge was saying. Could there be anything to Ridge stating that? I remember he asked what was wrong with Carter and then said something to Katie about Carter's mental state. I can't remember what exactly, though, he said to her.

Carter has got to be mental. I'm gonna start calling him the Marrying Man. He wants to marry every woman he dates.

I wonder what he'll do now? Quinn is still married to Eric. If they divorce in California, it'll take six months. I think six weeks if they establish a Las Vegas residency. Maybe Carter can pull out one of his insta-annulments, since Eric is not impotent, just with Quinn.

Carter acts like something is wrong with him. He acts like he's of low IQ or slow. (Only speaking of the character, not LSV. I don't know how he acts.)

IDK. They seems to know how to get quickie divorces when they want to, don't they? LOL Carter's brain is not wrapped too tight at all. He is one document short of a legal briefing.

Finn didn’t nearly get the boot, the show never intended Finn to be dead. The presumed death was just drama for his and Steffy’s story.

Characters don’t have to be good all the time but if they are meant to be a “good guy”, desirable, which Carter is, they shouldn’t be written to do something so heartless.

Totally agree. If he hadn't been so heartless to Zoe and Paris, I might not hate him so much now. Good guys make mistakes, but they take the blame for those mistakes and act like adults. If Carter had been a real good guy, he would have taken Paris aside and explained to her he was very conflicted when he proposed and he made a horrible mistake, etc. But no, he kissed her hand like he was Sir Galahad. He's not. He's a monster.

i'm not part of the "carter is ruined" chorus because i don't agree with that assessment, but it is true that characters in front burner stories will eventually do something the audience dislikes
wyatt was always looked at as "the loyal one" until bell decided to put him in a triangle with sally and flo, and then he started getting hated on, the same will happen with finn eventually unless he stays on the backburner

No doubt about that. Many were already hating Finn when he started confiding in Paris and discussing Sheila with her. First sign of waffling, he will be crucified just like Liam and Wyatt before him. The same happened with Nick. He was all about Brooke in the beginning then they completely ruined him. I'm not surprised by the writing for Carter. Front burner = looking bad.

I hope Ridge does fire him. I don't care how they get rid of him, just send him away. Anything to get him off-screen. Quinn, too. Ridge looked very disgusted yesterday.

Now that he's happy, they can put Quinn and Carter on the farthest backburner for the during of the show's run.

About time is right now I think they need to bring avants back drop Paris and add a few gay characters ..jmo. Carter had morals until this script they need to make him a respected guy and build him back up..how many bridge breakups can one take the triangles are stale …they keep writeing busy bodies enough
