I love the Bridgerton's. (Book version better) But I found that one story incredibly boring... I am glad I did not read that book early on, because I probably would not have picked up another Julia Quinn book.

I'm a fan, although it took me awhile to get into it. Truthfully, I enjoyed Season 1 far more than Season 2.

That is how I felt. It finally got interesting when the sister told her to be with Anthony. To me it did not live up to Season 1. Of course, they were rushed due to COVID, so that may have played a part in it. I do think Daphne's story was better written both in print and on screen.
I like Bridgerton, but Bell´s stories are far less romantic...just having a man marry a woman he doesn´t really love while there is one he really loves doesn´t mean it will be romantic...in Bridgerton 2 the man was a romantic hero and both young woman likeable to the viewers.
Carter is the opposite of a romantic hero and both women are no viewer´s favorites either.
