I Just Can't With Eric and Donna (General)

They clearly want us to be moved by Eric and the witless wonder he's sleeping with given the music cues. I just can't I'm sorry. All I see is grandpa perving on a teenager. That's how Ditzy Donna behaves. Even in the scene with Ridge and Katie she acted like a sixteen year old elbowing Ridge about Carter's wedding. Her and Eric are on such different intellectual levels it's very disturbing to watch them. It's almost like he's taking advantage of someone who doesn't know any better. There's just nothing romantic about them.

I think they are ultra-romantic. I don't see anything but cheap lust between Quinn and Carter. Cheap lust and selfishness.

BB can't please everyone at the same time. I am overjoyed Eric and Donna are getting together. I FF Carter and Quinn. I'm 31, I know what lust looks like. We all like different people and couples for different reasons.

That last part is absolutely true. For instance, Carter and Quinn look like two people who are desperately in love to me.

To me, Carter just looks like a foolish clown who is desperate and Quinn looks like she's just looking for a stud muffin.

Who's been a bigger ditz than Carter lately? He's the one acting like a teenager, bouncing from Zoe to Quinn to Katie to Paris to Quinn to Paris again. He laments that he can't find love because his pattern is to go after unavailable women and what does he do? He gets involved with one unavailable woman after the other. He's not too bright, either, thinking that using Paris is a good idea.

Being in good shape for his age has nothing to do with him behaving like an old fool...... One can be good looking and foolish at the same time. And Eric is doing a great job of it with his honey licking sidepiece.

Exactly! Having one's wife turn to a younger, sexier, attractive man has to be one heck of a kick to a man's ego and self confidence. What better way to make one's self feel better than to climb into bed with a sex kitten whose only ambition in life is to please him sexually? Understandable perhaps, but IMO, not exactly proof of a long term commitment.

The age difference between Eric and Ditzy Donna is greater. More importantly Quinn and Carter both behaves like adults whereas Ditzy Donna acts like she's a teenager.

The only thing remotely entertaining about Donna is her ability to make Eric look like a doddering idiot.

I seem to recall a time where Donna kept Eric alive by keeping Ridge from pulling the plug on Eric. So much for being a ditz. She's the only one who truly loves and appreciates Eric.

So once in a blue moon, the woman has some common sense. The rest of the time it's a wonder how she manages to get herself dressed. . Good thing Gramps is so enthralled with how she looks in sexy undies.

Can say the same about Quinn and Carter. Carter is in the same position Donna is. Except Donna, at least, is fun and upbeat. Carter mopes around like he and Quinn are star crossed lovers in a Shakespearean tragedy. And he's not very bright. He thinks his problems will go away by marrying Paris. Seems pretty ditzy to me.

I agree, but I call Carter thick. Thick as a plank and about as much fun as being tortured on a rack. I don't see what any woman would want with him. He could make the sunniest, happiest day seem dark with storm clouds. He has one look - mopey.
