Sheila turns on Li after discovering that Finn is alive. One thing leads to another and it gets very physical. When Li hops in a car and flees, Sheila takes off after her.
After Li takes off, Sheila is left to take care of her own son. As for Sheila's expectations. Says Kimberlin
This is the second chance that Sheila never thought she could get. She is determined to right this wrong and to finally get to know her son and grandson.
This is probably the most important thing she can do with her life at this time.

After all she has done so far, I find it very hard to accept that Li would flee from Sheila and leave Finn alone with her. I would think even smaller or fragile, Li would fight to the bitter end.

I think Sheila chases Li to her death in the car. If not, why wouldn't Li go straight to the cops and get them there immediately. Another thing, this is absurd. Why would Steffy ever let Sheila back in their lives no matter what? Sheila is still going to be a criminal on the run for trying to murder Steffy and shooting both Finn and Steffy. The bottom line here is, Li is the one that saved Finn's life and he needs to know it. Sheila try to take his life, accident or not. Lie saved him from bad medical care. I think it is going to be outrageous if Bell tries to now write it that Sheila saves Finn. Finn is waking up, his injuries seem to be healed physically. Li is the one that deserves all the credit.

First, Sheila had help but she escaped from jail, so she does not even have a car at her disposal to fly after Li who is trying to escape her.
And then yes if Bell is so desperate to redeem his dear Sheila, then yes he could do all of this to make Sheila the hero in this story and "save" Finn, so the rest of the cast will accept her. Bull!

Finn ONLY wants to get back to Steffy. Forgiving Sheila won't be his priority. He's going to witness her true self and see how sick she really is. If I'm guessing where this is headed, Im thinking he gets away from her and reunites with his wife and son in Europe. He'll wait until he gets physically strong enough and make his move. Of course Sheila will tell him Steffy is dead and that The Forresters won't let him or her have Hayes.
