I was interested in Li and Sheila a bit, but watching Taylor and Ridge hold down the CEO's office was so damn boring. And watching Carter follow Quinn around all day like a puppy. Just insane.

I think Ridge should have gotten out the disco ball for Taylor in that get-up. LOL. That was really bad, Hope's was worse. Both characters looked silly. WTH were they made up for, Halloween? Taylor was going as Annette from Saturday Night Fever, and Hope was done up like Dale Evans.

I don't want Brooke involved in any of the garbage that's on right now. Ridge finally decides to warn her about Sheila the week of June 20th. She was a victim yet Taylor and Li are more important. I hope she starts to see he truly doesn't love or care about her at all.

I don't want Brooke involved in any of the garbage that's on right now. Ridge finally decides to warn her about Sheila the week of June 20th. She was a victim yet Taylor and Li are more important. I hope she starts to see he truly doesn't love or care about her at all.
I really wish the same. I am growing to despise Ridge and Taylor more and more with every scene. I really, really wish they would get together. A match made in heaven those two, both equally self absorbed and with humongous egos.

Match made in the other direction, At least for me. Despise those 2. The only time I ever enjoyed a scene with Taylor and Ridge was the night she was shot, because I knew it was one of the last ones I had to endure for a very long time... I actually shed a few tears... Tears of pure joy.

Yes, the first episode that was filmed after she got injured was the one that aired last Friday, when Katie and Donna were having brunch with Hope instead of Brooke. And this week Hope was the one finding out about Eric and Donna instead of Brooke. But fortunately KKL will already be back on screen in next week's episodes.

Then Taylor urged him to call Li first, but I'm sure we're supposed to assume the call to Brooke happened offscreen right after Ridge left the message on Li's voicemail, just like the call to Steffy happened offscreen too. Because in the leaked script for next week Brooke already knows that Sheila has escaped when Ridge shows up to check on her.

I thought Ridge had brought up Brooke on Wednesday. Maybe this is why Taylor and Ridge were so boring hanging out in the office like they were in a scene in the movie "the Breakfast Club" all week.

I agree he should have mentioned it. But the call to Li was Ridge's last scene of the episode, so there was no time left after that. And I just saw that the weekly recap in SOD even says he called Brooke before Li. Those weekly recaps always summarize the original scripts, for example last week's recap still said that Brooke, not Hope, was the one having brunch with Donna and Katie. So it looks like those scenes at the office also got rewritten at the last minute because of KKL's injury.
I'm pretty sure Ridge calling Brooke and her reaction to the news was originally meant to be shown on screen while Taylor was calling Steffy, before anyone even brought up Li. But when KKL still wasn't available, they replaced that call with having Zende walk in right after Baker had left and Ridge updating him instead. Because hearing Ridge tell Brooke about Sheila's escape without seeing her reaction would have been just as pointless as hearing Taylor tell Steffy. I already thought that Zende's appearance in that scene was pretty awkward when I was watching the episode the other day, since he never had anything to do with Sheila before, but this way it makes sense. The show without Brooke/KKL is a dud.
The actors/characters that would have been in her scenes seemed off - and I don’t mean that as an insult.
Hope coming over to tge house is quite different than Brooke. Eric/Hope convo - definitely was supposed to be Brooke and I saw no scripts!
They had to make a sudden change.
Brooke sitting all next week unless they have her fall off camera- makes no sense.
She is on a rolling cart!

I agree with this. Those scenes were obviously meant to be for Brooke. They had to do what they had to do but the Hope with Eric/Donna/Quinn scenes came off as so random. Glad Brooke will be back soon.
