Ridge is mean spirited (General)

I believe the only reason he’s going back to Brooke is because after Bill gives him a talking to, he’s afraid she’s going to end up with Bill or Deacon. He doesn’t want her to be happy as he’s shown repeatedly. He’s interfered with nearly all her relationships. The way he talked to Brooke today was disgusting and to think he’s going to dump Taylor for a woman he is treating this way is horrendous. Yet his deranged family thinks that he’s a good man. I love TK the actor because I think he’s good. But Ridge is as callous as any villain. I was thinking today this character whether played by RM or TK has treated women with such disrespect. Whereas Deacon is a gigolo who uses women and Bill is a billionaire businessman who will manipulate any situation to his advantage, Ridge can be downright callous.

He sure is. Just look at the way he talks to people. He's abrupt and condescending and dismissive. I can't stand him. Imagine saying to your wife...See you at the office. What a brute.

I caught the tail end of today's show in a different time slot. Just in time to watch Taylor playing the simpering, adoring female. Batting her eyelashes and talking in that voice she uses around Ridge, to fan his over inflated ego. And there was Ridge, soaking up all the adoration being flung his way. If Ridge was a peacock, he'd have been in full display.

I don't see what women see in him.

Ridge only wants Brooke when she's happy with someone else. Ridge has to know that Brooke wants him more than anyone else. Ridge is an egotistical jerk. I'm sure Bill basically tells him that if he doesn't love Brooke for who she is and for all of who she is including her mistakes there are others who do and will. This reconciliation isn't about poor Brooke it's about Ridge knowing Brooke's done if he dumps her now.
I'd like Ridge to choose Brooke then for her to say Thank You for the last fling but you can go to Taylor. I want and deserve a man who puts me first. A man who doesn't allow his grown children to dictate his life.

Ridge and Taylor was both disrespectful to Brooke. Taylor is a gaslighter that puts on her little innocent act. Brooke was right. If Taylor was so worried about her grown daughter, why didn't she go with her. Be with her and support her for once in her life. Or Taylor could take the phone out of her purse and call her. Ridge gets mad if Brooke gets together with Deacon to talk about Hope, but he can play house with Taylor anytime he wants to because they share kids. Brooke should have told Ridge that if he didn't want to talk to her, she knew a few guys that did and walked out.

Ridge has always mistreated Brooke from day one, from Brooke's early pregnancy with him up to this day, Brooke has been nothing but a doormat for Ridge.

I totally agree. He is playing with Taylor's emotions once again because she is a safe calm harbor, but the minute he wants passion, it's off for mess with Brooke. I don't care for Taylor (never have), but neither woman deserves this kind of treatment. I hope Brooke and he get back together and Brooke realizes that it will never be the same and leaves him for Deacon or Nick (I miss him and besides Bill, he's the only other guy I liked with Brooke). And by the time he comes for Taylor, she has moved on with someone else as well. Leave his trifling behind alone and living at his dad's house. That would be awesome. And to make it even more interesting, have Brooke and Taylor bond over the realization that Ridge is for the streets!

They really need to get bill a nice girl he’s been wall paper he don’t need Brooke she’s got baggage up the kazoo..ridge should divorce date many then he wouldn’t have to be tied down..I don’t think ridge is ,mean two bitties are weird fighting over him…I do think he enjoys the flirtation but he’s no big deal both don’t need him he’s very conceited but a good dad now

I'm still hoping that the "death" they say will happen actually does happen, and that it's Ridge.
