You can almost smell it on her. She jumped like she got a cattle prod up her backside when she saw Brooke. And she should jump, she was talking Brooke's husband into keeping a secret that is about Brooke. Then just as Brooke was going to leave, Taylor jumps up and offers her inept, lame help, because she wanted Ridge to see how magnanimous she really can be, really, really. LOL. Taylor is just a creep.

I agree! I immediately thought what a snake she is!
What she told Brooke was not for Brooke but for Ridge to hear...look, Ridge, the world-renowned psychiatrist is offering her help to Brooke! Such an angel! :roll

Brooke would be better off going to Sheila for advice than Dr. Rainbows with her 2 brain cells, 1 of which is not working. LOL

Taylor is more than a snake. She's a wolf in sheep's clothing, pretending to be so nice and understanding, when really, she's waiting for an opportunity to take advantage. That's what her whole song and dance to Ridge has been about since she came back to town, claiming to be a shoulder he could rely on when it came to his marriage while she was secretly hoping for it to fail. That's the reason why she rushed over to Brooke's home after Steffy and Thomas showed her that footage -- she wasn't concerned about Douglas being asked to forget what he saw. She was eager to rub Brooke's face in what she and her children were assuming had transpired between Brooke and Deacon.

And even after she found out that Brooke had fallen off the wagon, she still showed no sympathy to her in spite of her own history of alcoholism. She and Steffy continued to berate Brooke for what happened with Deacon, claiming that Brooke was using the alcohol as an excuse to do what they claim Brooke does best. I still remember Steffy criticizing Brooke for "sleeping her way through the family", yet she conveniently forgot how her mother has done the same -- with respect to Ridge's male relatives and Brooke's male relatives -- all because Taylor has brainwashed her children into thinking she's perfect, defending her mistakes, and fighting her battles for her. (Since Stephanie is not around any longer to do it, and even if she were, Stephanie might actually turn on Taylor since she and Brooke became close before her passing.)

If Taylor truly wanted to help Brooke, she would have done so once she found out about Brooke's lost sobriety. She could have found a counselor Brooke could go to for one-on-one sessions if that's what Brooke had wanted to do as part of regaining her sobriety. She could have even offered to be an ear and a shoulder for Brooke since they both have alcoholism in common. But Taylor's objective was to get Ridge, no matter how it happened. Only now, and in front of Ridge, is she acting all concerned for Brooke when behind both their backs, Taylor is stoking conflict between her children and Brooke while playing the martyr. It really seems that Thomas and Steffy don't respect Brooke and Ridge's relationship largely because of Taylor consistently undermining their relationship out of bitterness.

Brooke knows what she needs to know, that Sheila switched the labels.Anything else is none of her dam buisness. The insincerity was overwhelming in the room, yes, Brooke's and her fake concern for Steffy

I'm not seeing insincerity from Brooke when it comes to concern over Steffy. In conversations she's had with Hope, Hope and Liam together, and when she confronted Sheila at the jail, she has consistently brought up Steffy and her suffering. When she was at the jail with Sheila, she even made it clear that her pain paled in comparison to Steffy's pain, and once again, she put Sheila on notice about going after Steffy and the Forresters. She didn't just tell Sheila to stay away from her, when she easily could have.

Brooke has been more protective over Steffy than Taylor has, especially when it comes to Sheila. Brooke was the one who wanted to close ranks to keep Sheila away because she rightly believed the woman was a threat. Taylor was the one who opened the flood gates and let Sheila get way too comfortable with the family. Brooke was in line with Steffy and Ridge's wishes about Sheila; Taylor was not, because she thought her so-called expertise as a "world-renowned psychiatrist" gave her infallible judgment when it came to a psychopath like Sheila. Brooke was the one who stood by Steffy's side on her wedding day when Sheila crashed it and expressed interest in having access to Hayes. Taylor, as usual, was absent, and once she did return, she promptly overrode Steffy's wishes by suggesting that Steffy allow Sheila to come to the cliff house for Christmas, so she could observe her and tell if she was reformed or not. That single act put the pieces in place for Brooke being targeted and having her marriage implode, and Steffy and Finn getting shot. Because had it not been for that, Brooke and Ridge would have eventually worked through their differences over Deacon, and Finn wouldn't have gone looking for Steffy, who herself wouldn't have confronted Sheila over what she did to Brooke.

And I do believe Brooke has every right to know that Thomas was in on Sheila's secret and didn't tell -- Steffy was the one who told the truth once she got her memory back, and it's heavily implied from her own confrontation with Sheila before she was shot that she was going to blow the whistle on Sheila when she finished with her. Thomas, though conflicted, ultimately chose to keep what he knew to himself, so that Taylor and Ridge could continue getting closer. Not only was it not his call to make regarding his parents' relationship, but he was in possession of information that he knew could make a difference in the lives of everyone. Especially for Steffy, Finn, and Brooke. Steffy would have been vindicated about her concerns that Sheila was still the same person she's always been, which would bolster the efforts for the family to stick together against Sheila. Finn would have finally seen Sheila for what she is by knowing about her underhanded and unprovoked attack on another person, which means he would have likely cut her out of his life for good. And Brooke would have gotten answers about what led to her compromised sobriety, which is crucial for her road back to sobriety. Once again, Thomas put what he wanted ahead of what was in the best interests of other people.

It's all just a freak show that desperate Taylor puts on in front of Ridge cuz she wants him to believe that she's such a caring person. She's such a fake and a phony! Pathetic.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

BRAVO!!!
I can't stand this character though I do prefer Krista to Hunter but still she needs to be gone.
And take Sheila with her. Quinn is enough of a villainess, she's a fine and lovely actress.

I love this post! Agree with every word! In addition to creep she's also daft, juvenile and the worlds biggest hypocrite.
