I'm really happy that we got to see some accountability from Thomas!! I could still stand for someone to pull Taylor aside for some "tough facts", but I loved that Ridge was appropriately LIVID with his son!
It's a big freaking deal. Thomas never learns from these messes. Rather he likes it or not, Brooke is Ridge's wife! It sucks that it needed to be stated to an adult child who is also a father!! (Something is still very wrong with Thomas) Somehow, the secrets he chooses to keep have major ramifications for people and more often than not hurt his family more than anyone... especially Steffy.

The secret about the baby hurt Hope the most. She thought her baby was dead. The secret about the berries hurt Brooke the most.
And yes this secret hurt Steffy the most.

And yes this secret hurt Steffy the most.
Well...the secrets hurt people from both families.
The Beth Secret obviously hurt Hope the most, but Thomas was the one with the power to ease Steffy's pain at losing the baby she saw as her Phoebe. He should have prepped Steffy for that secret to come out. I don't blame Hope for demanding her daughter go home with her ASAP. She had every right after all her suffering.
The Berries Secret also destroyed Taylor!! This fool lied to gain some stock sure, but again the bigger payoff for him...and Stephanie was that Brooke is pegged as a predator and Ridge remarries Taylor. Sick.
So, this exposed secret wrecks Taylor. She has to apologize to Brooke for accusing her of violating her son. She's humiliated and heartbroken (yet again) and has to release Ridge from marrying her because she knows their marriage would be a farce because he's still in love with Brooke.
At some point...they either need to commit Thomas to an institution or cut him off from the family. He's been more destructive than some of the villains on this show!

On this show half the cast would be cut off or put away ….if cast that’ did relatives sex or kept secrets or plotted ….example bill for getting deacon out of jail and sexing his wife’s sister and Brooke doing relatives etc ..most are flawed …

Totally agree. And then there is Emma who lost her life because Thomas needed to keep that secret.

All the characters are trapped by their weaknesses. They can’t change according to the writers pen. That seems to be more true for Bold than other shows. So Fridays conversation played out as I expected. How can it be any different when the characters are the same. Ridge gets particularly upset with Thomas. Taylor coddles him. Steffy is the favorite child.

The only character on this show who is truly held by her mistakes by other characters is Brooke. And because she is Brooke’s daughter by Deacon, Hope gets yanked back every so often when people bring her up as the dirty family secret. (Ron Moss’ Ridge said that and Hope overheard him making her run away)
Taylor’s misdeeds - NEVER brought up.
Ridge’s - NEVER brought up
Steffy - NEVER brought up
Bill - no one cares
Quinn - she has so many they just talk about the latest!
