I’m asking for a specificity that most soaps don’t do

After everything we’ve watched unfold, we deserve real, concrete declarations—no matter which side of the fence we’re on. I don’t want to read in between the lines. I don’t want the writers to leave anything open to interpretation. For example:

Liam:
“I made a mess of everything. I ran to Steffy every time things got hard, and it was wrong. Not because she’s with Finn now, but because you’ve always been it for me. You are the love of my life. I should’ve said that a long time ago.”

Hope:
“I crossed lines I can’t pretend away. What happened with Thomas spun out of control. I’m so sorry I risked us for something that never should’ve happened. Losing you—almost losing us—made it crystal clear. It’s you. It’s always been you.”

I want them to speak the names out loud. I honestly don’t care who says it first. I keep going back to the writer’s strike and the fallout. In my view, the show did real damage during that stretch. Whether you were pro-Lope, pro-Steam, pro-Carter, or anything in between, I believe we all deserve a moment of clarity that makes revisiting Hope and Liam feel like a viable option. Even if they blow it up again later, this part should be said out loud. To me a soap is only as good as the writers ability to help viewers buy into whatever narrative they’re selling. Right now I’m not buying. JMHO

Yet, when the show actually gave us "a moment of clarity" about Lope love and Steffy..it's always ignored..how MANY times have I posted the following? Too many to count....

After the staged kiss was revealed to Liam, he immediately called Hope over to the cliff house, and with BOTH women standing in front of Liam, he chose Hope over Steffy! He declared his love for Hope, proposed to her again, then kissed her passionately..all right in front of Steffy as she witnessed it all! I still remember Steffy looked jealous. To me, this is indeed a "moment of clairity"..and Liam has always loved Hope more than Steffy IMO.

There were many moments where Liam showed and said he loves Hope more and that she's the one. He never did it with Steffy. To me it's clear as day.
