There is no excuse for Finn to keep this from Steffy (General)

Doesn't everyone, including her parents, keep from Steffy that Luna is alive for her own good? Steffy needs to tell Finn about Liam kissing her.

If Steffy becomes upset with Finn for keeping this from her, I hope she’s just as upset with her parents too. Ridge and Taylor found out about Luna being alive before Finn even did. They knew several days or even weeks earlier, so they’ve kept this from Steffy even longer than Finn has. They could have told Finn and Steffy together, but instead, Finn had to have Luna show up in his office.

I’m not actually bothered because Finn is talking to Steffy’s parents and involving them in his decision-making when it comes to Steffy and Luna. Steffy’s parents are supporting him, and he’s taking their lead, and I see nothing wrong with that. If Steffy’s parents are fine with keeping this from her a little bit longer, then it won’t be an issue. It won’t be seen as a betrayal.

As far as I'm concerned, he broke his vows and betrayed his wife and children the minute he saw Luna alive and chose to not grab his cellphone and tell Steffy everything. There should be zero tolerance when it comes to secrets about Luna in this marriage. This is a serious issue given Luna's past against Steffy and her determination to kill her. If Luna had her way and if it weren't for Liam, Steffy would be dead. Anyone who doesn't call the police and keeps this secret from Steffy is guilty of obstruction, endangerement and duty to rescue. That includes Brooke, Taylor, and everyone who are intentionally keeping this secret from Steffy but this looks way worse for Finn. He is Luna's father and he is the reason why she is still in Steffy's life and determined to murder her. He made a conscious choice at the beginning of the year when he told Luna Tom isn't her father and he is. He chose to tell Luna and this is why she became obsessed with him and hates Steffy so much. Everything happening today (including the rape and this baby) is because of this choice, but he isn't owning it and isn't taking responsibility. How is he supposed to protect his family and keep his wife and children safe if she doesn't even know the menace is still alive and more vicious and unstable than ever ? His promises mean nothing now if he doesn't immediately contact Steffy and if he doesn't immediately call Lt. Baker and demand she goes back to prison for her crimes. I don't care what Taylor, Poppy or anyone advise him to do. They say they are protecting Steffy but it's the opposite, they're putting her life in danger. This is on him if he keeps quiet. How does Finn know Luna isn't about to board a plane, fly to Paris, buy a gun and assassinate Steffy, Kelly and Hayes?? How is Steffy gonna defend herself if she has no idea she is in danger?
Finn keeps making terrible decisions after terrible decisions when it comes to Luna. His first mistake was to have sex with his aunt and not use protection. His second mistake was to believe Poppy was certain he wasn't the father knowing she didn't take a paternity test. I still find it hard to believe he never suspected he was the father, given how fast he ran those paternity tests when he heard Tom's test was negative. He slept with Poppy and she gave birth 9 months later. He's either a first-class idiot (who can't do the math) or a good liar (who deep down always suspected he was a candidate and chose to ignore it). His third mistake was to run these paternity tests behind Steffy's back and not talk to her about his affair with Poppy and his suspicions first. He procrastinated too much and took his investigation too far before he informed Steffy. His 4th mistake was to not let Luna continue to believe she was Tom's daughter, and tell her everything before Steffy even knew she wasn't behind bars anymore. His 5th mistake was to go along with Will's infiltration plan and play with Luna's feelings. This plan was dangerous and ultimately led to the beach house mass shooting. His 6th mistake was to believe Li's claim that Luna is dead knowing Li's history of faking deaths. He never even asked to see Luna's body and never asked Li questions about the surgery and the circumstances of her death. His next mistake is to go along with Li's deception and Bill's silence. If he doesn't immediately call the police and has Li thrown in jail for her crimes, then he is protecting Luna and everything he says about her is meaningless and full of hypocrisy. He is protecting Li and covering up her crimes after how he handled Grace's case just a few weeks ago,... talk about double standards and morals. But not grabbing a phone and telling Steffy the truth PRONTO may be his worst mistake. I really wish he will get busted and another person will call her or deliver the news when she comes back. And I hope Steffy won't give him another pass this time. She needs to be done with Li once and for all and furious at all the people who kept these Luna secrets from her. Finn's silence should be seen as a vow breaking and the ultimate proof he was never serious about protecting her and her kids from Luna. By keeping this secret and not calling the police, he is gonna feed Luna's obsessions all over again. She will see it as an opening and a sign he loves her, is happy she is alive, grateful towards Li and doesn't really think she belongs in jail. He is about to dig his own grave.

Finn should call her right away…Steffy should know..it’s dumb

I believe Steffy will give Finn a pass once she learns everything. Nothing will tear Sinn apart.

Sure won't get any excuse from me. Steffy being in Europe doesn't justify anything. If he can't go to Paris and tell her because of his job, the least he can do is leave Steffy a voicemail and inform her Luna is alive and pregnant and the father is Liam's brother. Even if he keeps this for a few days, it's a few days too long (but it looks like it's gonna be much more). But just like all the other times he screwed up, no one will call him out for anything. Steffy will say it's Poppy's fault, or Li, or Bill's fault. Or Hope's. And poor Finn was forced to lie.
The part about Li is very hypocritical too. If he doesn't turn Li in for what she did and doesn't contact Baker for Luna, then he can STHU about Luna. Steffy shouldn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

Anyway, I will give my opinion. Steffy is safe out of the country right now. There is no reason to upset her while she is off on her vacation. So I have no issue with anyone keeping this from Steffy at this moment. She will have to be told when she comes home and I am pretty sure she will be. I do agree that she needs that information so she can protect herself and she needs to be told immediately when she gets home.

Also remember most of the players,,,, Ridge, Brooke, Finn, and Poppy have just been told and are trying to wrap their heads around what they just found out. Deacon told Taylor before the other's found out. Bill, Katie, and Will are the key players at the moment and they are dealing with Luna. That in my opinion takes precedence over Steffy since Will is here and Steffy is on another continent. WIll is the one in danger at the moment, not Steffy.
