Speculation on the takeover story (Spoilers)

Pure speculation, but I wonder if Steffy's plan will backfire, Daphne puts Carter under her spell to get rid of Hope, uses him to get rid of Steffy and then takes over FC. Then Brooke will figure it all out, blow up Daphne's plot, and restore FC to the Forresters under the condition that Hope keeps her job and her line and Steffy can no longer treat Hope and Brooke disrespectfully.

I like that! And Daphne doesn't seem to have any loyalty to anyone but herself.

We know nothing about Daphne except she’s helping a friend that two con jobs took over
