In the current situation it sounds absurd.

Ridge calling Hope a "nasty little bitch" was absolutely over the line. I get that he's frustrated by the takeover but that was too much. As much as I'm no fan of Brooke's she needs to get in his face and remind him that he's not going to disrespect her daughter or call her out of her name.

He didn’t cross any line for me. He called her exactly what she is and I hope he has much more to say to her tomorrow. Taking control of a company that she has no right to makes her a nasty bitch and it’s about time her mother realizes that and stops calling her honey like she’s a sweet little girl. She’s disgusting.

Maybe we should go down the list of things Thomas did to Brooke and Hope and Emma? Maybe we should discuss Steffy’s evil deeds and murders throughout the years. Hope’s actions are small potatoes compared to the sins of his brats and yet, I haven’t ever heard Brooke say something like that to them. No, she was expected to suck it up and look past it. Well I hope Brooke sees the double standard and treats them all the way she’s been treated!

Someone needs to bash Ridge into the ground

No doubt it was nasty but the name fits in this situation. And I believe Ridge’s frustration with Hope stems not only from this situation, but also from her stringing along his son. I think you might remember that storyline? Despite his son and grandson living on another continent thanks to Hope initiating a relationship with Thomas and then not being able to tell him it would ever go anywhere, Ridge gave Hope extensions to save her failing line. During that time Hope lusted after Ridge’s daughter’s husband (because, as she told Brooke, she felt Ridge’s daughter didn’t appreciate/deserve him) and then became involved with the COO who suddenly championed her line. Now she is complicit in a hostile takeover of his family company. How else should Ridge feel about her but what he called her?

It was Steffy who talked Thomas into leaving. Hope didn’t want marriage. She had that right and she didn’t string anyone along. She always told Thomas she wasn’t ready.

Steffy is the person who started the narrative that Hope was stringing Thomas along. If Steffy had minded her own business, Thope would still be together and there would be no hostile takeover. It's important to note that Thomas isn't anymore married to Paris than he was to Hope when he left.

He’ll apologize. The part of him that still loves Carter wants to put the blame on someone else for this and Hope is the one he’s targeting because Carter did this because he wants Hope.

It’s almost like Ridge is a woman scorned because Carter chose Hope over Ridge.

And that’s not a defense. It’s an explanation (my interpretation).

I cant see brooke betraying eric that way

Trying to wrap my head around this. I am with a man that I have been with most of my life. He helped raise my daughter and as a child she called him dad. His biological daughter for years and years tormented, humiliated and went after my daughter’s husband. Never did he once admonish his daughter for all the pain she caused.
Finally my daughter has the upper hand and is striking back. I don’t agree with what she is doing. I even went to warn him unbeknownst to my daughter. He never says a word to me that I put my loyalty to him before my child. He never acknowledged my arguments that this began because of his daughter firing my daughter for personal reasons. Now he calls my daughter vile names. Without an ounce of hesitation HIS TEETH would be on the floor. DONE!

OMG! Yes he did! The Queen was notorious for calling Brooke that word. I loved it.....say it again Ridge. When Steffy said, it didn't sound right, but Ridge nailed it. Come on Bold!!

The show crossed the line. Not Ridge. I have stopped watching. I will not celebrate Ridge and Steffy’s behavior. With that I honestly assume BOLD is desperate and done.
