Poppy and the backpack (Spoilers)

GracieGirl, 8/2/2024, 2:33PM (404 days ago)

Poppy acted as if she had no idea where the backpack came from, but she was very stern with Luna about what she was reading. I believe this is a story about hurting Poppy but I don’t think she killed Hollis or Tom. I need more info before coming to that conclusion.

I think Jack is setting her up.

I think Jack is setting her up.

Why? He seemed so pro-Poppy when he spoke with Finn.

Why else would they bring him back but only show him in a handful of episodes? I think he is Luna's father.

Probably but what does that have to do with setting up Poppy for a double homicide?

I think Jack left them there but I don't think he is setting her up. Have they ever even had a scene together? He may have felt the letters belonged to her or that they would be destroyed when the apt was demolished.

It's possible that it was Jack who was there having another drink with Hollis, and Jack took the bag after Hollis showed it to him. Then Hollis died of what he'd already been drinking.

I think the killer put the backpack there because they knew the building would be demolished.

Those letters could contain information about Jack and Poppy having an affair too.

Poppy didn't hurt Tom or Hollis but I also don't think anyone is trying to hurt her. The letters were probably put there to be demolished with the building or someone believed she should have them. It doesn't make sense to frame her by putting letters in a place that only Poppy or Luna would find them.

Right. The only problem is -- barring bad writing, that backpack was right there when Hollis was talking to whomever at the restaurant and then he was dead. So--I guess he talked to someone who took the backpack and then later, he was killed and not by that person.

Because he was drinking that drink before that person showed up.

I wonder if Poppy is lying about not knowing the letters and backpack were there, or if she at least knew they were going to be there. The spoilers for next week don't seem to indicate that Poppy is worried about being framed or even questioned much about how they got there. I wonder if she figures out rather quickly who put them there, if she truly didn't know Tom's backpack would be in her apartment.

I think someone planted it in their apartment. But who? That's what I can't figure out, or why.

Yep..someone is trying to frame Poppy. That would be my guess.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
