And Thomas chased Emma off the road to her DEATH and smirked as he watched the girl die. (Per Thomas and his conversation with Ridge. I think it went something like:

Ridge: How did you know it was too late?
Thomas: Because I SAW HER.

I guess that makes another case of Thomas and Shelia being cut from the same cloth. If Thomas is "redeemed" then so can Shelia be.

Thomas killing Emma was presented in a very ambiguous manner and there are viewers on both sides of that question. Sheila murdering Lance with bees and watching him die, and her tricking Sugar into plastic surgery so she could serve her time in a facility for the criminally insane were presented as facts. IMO Thomas has never done anything in Sheila’s league. Even keeping the Beth secret was not in Sheila’s league. Sheila would have been the Dr. Buckingham character in that storyline.
