It is not Hope's responsibility. And Deacon isn't the problem. The problem is Steffy can't control Finn's feelings. Finn is a grown man and he's going to feel whatever he feels no matter what Deacon tells him.

Steffy didn't put it on Hope, Hope took it on herself. It was her suggestion and decision to go and talk to Deacon. Steffy didn't ask her to do so.

Yeah, right. It was all Hope's idea. That's why Steffy said Hope should have done it already.
