Is Bold on a redemption mission?

Why? It’s a soap. Why can’t the show live with the plots they come up with? I have no problems with characters evolving and growing but there is no way Sheila has gone from shooting Steffy to prevent her from calling ambulance for Finn to this moment. Are we supposed to believe that Deacons love for her and her heart for Finn made this all possible? Sheila has a basic personality that’s supposed to be in place no matter what even if she’s better. Maybe it’s meant to be a joke.

I have seen the arc of the redemption coming ever since Bill tricked her. Heck, ever since Deacon took a chance on her and hid her after the toe incident. That was a year and a half ago. She hasn't harmed anyone but herself since the shooting, and, no, I'm not counting Li because Li drove herself down a busted bridge. And before the shooting, she hadn't done anything but the label switch. I recall that being a move defended because Brooke had riled her. Likewise, Steffy had riled her in the alley. Instead of hurting people, she actually saved the child Steffy so stupidly still thinks Sheila wants to hurt for some unknown reason.

There's often a lot of pushback for defending Sheila, but I'm one of those people who think others also bear the responsibility for things that happen, and if you mess with the bull, you get the horns. I don't think it's fair that people can talk nasty to her, shove her face in food, punch her, and slap her, but she's not allowed to respond because she has a criminal past.

She’s not wanted by law so other characters can lump it

My sentiments exactly.
