Disagree.

The only interest Steffy showed to Liam since she handed him over to Hope is as Kelly's father.That's why Liam, Thomas and Hope had to use Kellu, reuniting Kelly's family to get Steffy to show him any interest.That's why Steffy didn't remove the portrait when she fell in love with Finn but when she started the new family she wanted with her soulmnate, whole wprld(her words)..

-Liam can have sex with Steffy he's just using her

-Hope can have sex with Thomas just for fun or to boost her ego

-But Steffy can't have sex with Liam just because she's horny after 2 years without any(drugged ons), no,She wants him back.Never mind that she stated that it made her remember how much she missed that part of her life,(her sex life) no, she just wants Liam.And when he left with Hope and Phoebe/Beth, he "dumped" her, never mind that they weren't even a couple, didn't make any freaking move on him through the time he was there (,by the way only because Hope used kelly and phoebe to get Steffy to take him back in.)merely offering him the guest room and just coparenting with him.
Steffy didn;t make herself an option again.

-Thomas tells Stteffy that Douglas can;t lose another mother and Kelly would have her father full time to get her to go along with the stage kiss, only for her tor regret it immediatly and defend him to Hope taking full responsibility.And had liam rejected Steffy instead of kissing her back,that's what Hope would have seen, staged or not.So lope, instead of focusin on the fact that liam kissed Steffy back, they chose to hide behind the fact that it was staged.And she still doesn't know that he kissed Steffy again to show her what's in his heart.Steffy still didn't make herself an option.

And finally the drunk ons, liam using the portrait that represents the family Steffy once wanted for her kid using the mother to get the woman, with some help from alcohol.Stteffy defending Hope, pushing him to talk to Hope before and after the ons,, despite of him standing there telling her that he was done with Hope,that she could have Thomas.Steffy still not making herself an option.

And we're supposed tp believe that when Liam says I love you to Steffy and that he never stopped loving her, He's not in love with her.He says it to Hope, he is.
Steffy says to liam I'll always love you she's in love.
Double standard much in favor of liam

No, Steffy hasn't been in love with liam or wanted him back since years, long before Finn got into her life

So no,liam didn't have any opportunity to reunite with Steffy unless he was willing to be with a woman not in love with him but willing to settle to give her kid the united family she dreamed of for her at the time.His huge ego couldn't take it
