Of course rich Steffy won't have to go on trial.

Trial for what? Someone enters my home uninvited and then doesn't leave when I give them the chance...it's not going to end well for them. Not to mention, their face is covered in a black veil and they lunge at me. Like the character or not, Steffy did NOTHING wrong.

If Deacon would tell the cops how Steffy assaulted Sheila two times in their home and told her that she wishes her death there would be a trial but Steffy is so privileged even Deacon won't tell on her.

Excellent post and true. When Steffy attacked Sheila in Sheila home, Sheila could have killed Steffy then and would have been self defense

I bet then it wouldn't be so simple. Sheila would definitely be on trial even if Steffy would be pointing a gun at her. If the cops would miraculously do nothing Thomas would put a bomb in Sheila's car and Ridge would stalk her so much Sheila would want to go to jail.
