Steffy gloating to Hope after Thomas and Douglas left...

...reminded me of the scene on the bench in Aspen, when she gloated to Brooke that her parent trap had worked and Ridge was leaving her for Taylor.

Steffy has something very evil inside of her.

I don’t mind a soap where characters gloat as long as there’s payback in a way that lets that character know that he or she is suffering because they are hypocritical or they gloat.

She suffered zero consequences after the parent trap.

Steffy did suffer but not in the way I personally wanted her to suffer. But, that's okay. Her mom lost out on Ridge which means all of her efforts came to not. Ridge went back to Brooke. And, Taylor left.
